My son’s birthday is NYE. So I wanted to book his party early… My phone call was answered by a man named Joe who told me he was the owner. He looked up all the info I wanted. He informed me that «Historically NYE is very slow for us and it’d be wide open for your kids.» That sounded fantastic. He told me that there was one other birthday party that day at 1:00 or 1:30…but, if I could schedule mine a bit earlier there would be no overlap. So, I moved my son’s party to 11:30AM. He did make me aware that one other party could be booked at the same time as my son’s – however, they only booked parties of same aged children. Since my son was turning 3 any other party booked would have to be similar in age. (Their website confirms this.) Great, huh?! I was also made aware that I could order pizza and drinks from them the day of the party and I could bring my own cake and appetizers for adults. Perfect! Someone from Jump Zone called a few days before the party to confirm and answer any questions I might have. Everything was going smoothly…
My husband works in the area where Jump Zone is located. He drives by it daily. As we pulled in the parking lot he expressed some concern with the number of cars in the parking lot. He told me there are never a lot of cars in the lot. This made me a bit concerned, as well, since we had 20 kids coming. We had to park far away and trudge back and forth with a cake, appetizers, etc… I got an uneasy feeling the moment I walked in the door. The place was PACKED with children. When I asked a woman at the front desk what was going on, she told me there was a New Year’s Eve (Open to the public) Party going on. WHAT? I told her I was there for the 11:30 birthday party. She barely could acknowledge me because of the line of people waiting to get in the place and others who were trying to buy drinks from her. I told her that I was furious about this and that I wanted to talk to the owner who booked my party. In between helping the crazy line she had, she told me she was going to have someone show us to our party room. Walking to the room, the horrible knot in my stomach got worse. There were so many parents to walk through and not even enough seats for them all! It was impossible to see any one child because of the number running around. This was going to be awful! Not at all what was promised on the phone!
As soon as we were showed in the room, my husband and I looked at each other in awe. What was going on? A young worker came in and told me that the person that was supposed to be in charge of our party wasn’t there and he’d find out who it would be. He came back a little bit later and announced it would be him. I couldn’t help but cry as I spoke to him. I told him that I wanted to talk to whoever I booked the party with… Joe or Joel. He told me the owner «stepped out» for a bit but, he’d get me his cell number. He came back with it and I called… straight to Voice Mail… which I left demanding a call back immediately. I decided we had to make due until he called since guests were about to arrive. EVERYONE who walked in through the craziness looked at me like, «What’s with the chaos??» I had to explain that unfortunately Jump Zone never told me they created an open to the public event after I booked my son’s party. So, I had parents who could not stand around and chat leisurely with one another since they had to monitor the insanity that was Jump Zone’s NYE Party! The young guy helping us was very kind through all of this. He told me that he has never seen it like this before and he would have the manager come in. That’s when I met Ben. At first he tried to tell me that the NYE event was created a long time ago. I informed him I knew that was not true since the OWNER would have notified me of that when booking in November. I’m sure he was scared of me since I was a pissed off mom at my son’s birthday party. He seemed nervous as he tried to offer my party a free pitcher of pop and pizza and extra jump time at the end. No thank you. So, the kids could all puke? I just wanted this nightmare party to be over! As I stood talking to Ben and the original girl at the front counter, they discussed stopping entrance to their open event! They started turning people away! Picture how many people were in there!
What a complete zoo. My party had 20 kids and at least 20 adults for a total of 40 people… Then there was their crazy event! Surely fire codes were broken! Surely my contract was broken which says only a like age party can be booked! My brother, who is a lawyer, watched an employee climb a pole to put up the balloon drop as children waited under it! Then they all ran around with horns jumping! So UNSAFE! Never has the owner called me back! How bout a call to inform me? He is a JOKE… way to HIDE-​let the minimum wage workers deal with it!*Pay with a credit card so you can charge it back when they break the contract!*

If your child or any of the invited children require med alert bracelets or other identifying articles, please reconsider. The owner informed me that her concern is for the inflatables rather than the children.
No mention or a viable alternative.
BEWARE!

Awesome place for the kids to burn lots of energy and play and make friends. The place is great for toddler birthday parties. Just watch the little friends so on the exits they don’t end up falling off the bouncies.

Had our 2 year old daughters birthday party here. Kids loved it, place was very clean, service was friendly and helpful– what more could you want? A lot of our friends have since taken their kids back there for open play. Great place to let your kids have fun and burn up some energy. Place is a little hard to find, tucked away in a business park so if you do have a party there make sure to bring some extra balloons to guide people in!

Bouncing on large inflated balloons seems fun for kids. Unfortunately, doing something as simple as having the food ready for a party that is booked weeks in advance is too much for this place to handle. Party started at 1:30. It is now 3:10 and still no pizza. Unacceptable. Don’t waste your money on a party at this place.

We just went to this jump zone this weekend for our niece’s birthday and we were overwhelmed with how clean the place was! Not only that, our party assistant was super helpful and friendly. I’ve been to many jump zone’s and none have been as clean and as well lit as this one. All the kids had a great time and I would drive the extra mile to go to this one anytime.

Excellent place for kids with a very Smart layout. Just the place for kids to release some energy in the comfort of a well lit, clean, organized and fun room. Parents of older kids can perch themselves on raised barstools and see their kid from the comfort of their chair. Parents with little ones have an option of a toddler eclosure with a half wall where they don’t feel closed off from the rest of the room and from where they can also keep an eye on their older child. I visited there for two different parties and I was very happy with my time spent. I will take away a star because they ran out of coffee cups for us tired parents so they need to better organize their inventory.

The most unfriendly staff!
we have participated in a birthday party in this place and there were 2 ladies in charge. the young lady was friendly but the main person (maybe manager) was the most unfriendly staff I have ever seen. she talked to kids in such a way that they were scared! She had No Respect for kids.
Another problem was they didn’t ask kids to wash or sanitize their hands before having their pizza!!!

good place to take your kids under 9 years old since the inflatables I believe is for this age group. Great to hold your party also. There are 2 rooms and a rock climbing area. Small parking space. May be difficult to get to during winter with snow and ice since the road entry is on the uphill and be careful you don’t slide down the very busy road leaving the place.

Cleaner and a bit quieter than Chuck E Cheese. A lil hard to find — but as long as you know that McConnor & Tower are the same street, and it’s next to 90, it’s fine. The employees are nice. My nephew and his friends had a blast!

We have such a great time here! I love all of the different themed bouncy houses!
My son is so excited to have his 5^th birthday party here!

Let me start by saying my (just turned) 3 year old son was there previously during an open play and had a fantastic time! I did too because there is plenty of space to sit, it’s brightly lit and decorated, chilly but not cold, I can see every jumpy from the seating area, and it’s just small enough and big enough to not loose my son but he can run and play independently. There is a little food/​drink area as well. I really liked the open play time and we will certainly return for that.
Not so good was the 3 year old birthday party we just had there for him. I scheduled online, picked all of my food/​drinks/​decorations/​etc. and received a confirmation. There was a discount offered but for some reason didn’t show up on my order, I called and they quickly corrected that. I chose the $ 315 party, $ 105 party package, balloons and extra pizzas & pitchers so I would have enough for the adults as well. I went in to pick up the invitations and was very happy with my choice of venue for my sons 3^rd birthday (and with 25 kids attending, very happy all I had to do was have fun!).
Upon arriving for the party, they staff was very friendly. Coats off, some guests arriving, greeting them… and the staff comes to me to confirm my food/​drink choices. No, they had it all wrong. They didn’t even have the $ 105 package let alone the extras I ordered. So as the remainder of my guests were arriving I had to remember how many kids/​adults were coming, choose # of pizzas, toppings on pizza, and drinks (pizza was good by the way). I was very annoyed and angry… didn’t they have a copy of my order or my confirmation? I didn’t want to deal with this as my guests were coming in.
Well at least I wouldn’t have to set up, serve, or clean at the party, yea!!! Ummm… I did have to set up, serve and clean. They had one young man for the party, and he was not assertive and with a room full of 25 little kids, easily faded into the background. Also, I thought the allotted 30 minutes in the room would be enough, it was not. He told me I didn’t have to clean up, he would. But he must have meant after we left the room because he didn’t clean up much while we were in there. Again, a room of little kids with parents is not a place for an assistant that isn’t assertive. He was friendly though. As the party was ending… feeling extremely rushed to leave, we asked if we could have another 15 minutes and they agreed as there was not a party following us.
He reminded me that guests could not return to the play area after the party. I said that’s fine but I hope you’re not asking me to police them because I will not. He didn’t say anything. I’m sure by now they all thought I was a b***h.
I will not have another (admittedly large) birthday party there until my son is a few years older. But again, I loved it as an open play and we’ll certainly be back for that.

We have been here twice: once for an open play and another time for my daughter’s 4^th birthday party.
GOOD:
The facility is fun! My daughter has SO MUCH FUN on all the inflatables, and I love that you can see all of the jumpy houses from one spot. All her friends seemed to have a blast too!
During her party, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves– NOT crowded at all (but then again I made sure not to book a party during open play time).
The pizza was tasty.
One of the ladies at the front desk was very nice and attentive, probably the manager or owner (the rest of the staff, not so great). I complained that the bathroom was dirty, and she had it cleaned up the next time I went in. I requested to have her call my daughter’s party over the loudspeaker to take a group picture by the princess jumpy house, and she did.
WHY ONLY 3 STARS:
The private party room experience– not so organized.
After calling us into our private party room, the attendant, pizza and juice boxes were nowhere to be found! I had a room full of energetic, hungry, and thirsty 4 year olds WAITING for food. Now, don’t get me wrong, I think kids should be patient and learn how to wait, BUT after jumping for more than an hour they were ready to eat! I assumed (incorrectly) that the attendant would have set up each place setting with a juice box and be there to serve the pizza right away. I guess i could have checked before we all went in the party room to see if everything was set up, but I was too busy, you know, enjoying my daughter’s party in the inflatable area! We waited between 5 – 10 minutes to get the food served, which may not seem long, but when you only have 30 min in the room and the kids are hungry it felt like a lifetime to me! Why would they call us into the private party room if the pizza and drinks weren’t there?
Also, our attendant could have been more enthusiastic. It IS a kid’s birthday party after all! Why so bored and uninterested? At the time, I was almost 9 mos pregnant, and I didn’t want to worry about doing anything. I just wanted to sit back and enjoy the party. But I had to help pass out cupcakes (imagine if it had been an actual cake that had to be cut and served) and I had to lead singing Happy Birthday. Why didn’t the attendant do that for me? Isn’t that what they are there for? Oh, and he also didn’t clear the trash after juice and pizza, so all that junk was on the table during the cupcakes and singing. I felt like I had to manage our own party attendant– I wish he would have just stepped up and run the party like he should have.
One last thing (which is kind of my germ-​a-​phobe issue), but at other birthday parties in similar type facilities, the attendant was at the door before the kids came into the private room to make sure all the kids sanitized their hands. I don’t know if Jump! Zone just doesn’t do that, but I had to make sure the kids «washed» their hands before eating.
So overall we’ll be back to play, but I wouldn’t do another birthday party here.

Place is really small… but overall kids have Blasts jumping and sliding down the slides. It’s pretty good to hold any small children’s party’s. Pizza is average, the great thing is they help you cut the cake and provide the utensils.

This place is great. Very clean and well ventilated. The staff is awesome with children. The manager took the time to say hello and thanked me for my business that goes a long way I’m definitely coming back and I’m telling all my friends !

Went to a 7 year olds birthday party at this location. The kids had a great time, but the staff was no where to be found. There were 4 kids parties going on, without a staff member on the floor for the first hour. After two separate areas had kids get hurt, a staff member came on the floor.
The location seemed clean, and the kids had a great time. But as a parent, I’d never have a party at this location.
If you attend a party here, do not leave your kids alone due to a poor staff on hand.

This is one of the best jump places we have been to. It doesn’t smell like dirty socks like most other ones, and my 3 year old has a blast. I love that they have separate times for younger children.

This one doesn’t seem as nice as the one in the western suburbs. This one has one jump zone and a cake room.
The inflatables were ok but being at the other location first made this one seem very plain and lacking in the actual attractions.
The biggest reason I gave this two stars was the fact that at a birthday party for a four-​year-​old they wouldn’t let the kid open his gifts on premise (the other one did)… the kids could eat cake and cookies and goldfish and make a mess with that stuff but they didn’t want any wrapping paper??? Not even if they brought the leftover paper home??? Sheesh…
I was really considering this place for our upcoming soon-to-be-five-year-old’s party because it was closer to our home than the one off of Roselle Rd… Not after this party… =-/

THE GOOD:
–Nice facility.
–The kids had fun.
–The staff was nice.
–The Papa Saverio’s food was good.
–Since we booked the entire facility, let us bring in appetizers.
–Since we booked the entire facility, let us play our music.
I thought we were nickel and dimed way too much.
We rented the entire facility for 2 hours. This cost $ 600. The final bill for the facility, food and gratuity was over $ 1,200. We did have a lot of kids there, but I was a little surprised by the cost. Here is why:
THE BAD:
— $ 1 per balloon for 50 balloons. Asked for a full estimate and this charge was not on there prior to having the party. They were balloons the size of cantelopes.
–Charged us for the weight to hold down the balloons — 7 juice boxes @ $ 1 a piece. Give me a break. How tacky is that?
–Recommended the portion of food to purchase. This was grossly over-​estimated. We had atleast 8 untouched pizzas. That’s 8 x $ 18 = $ 144. Also a tray of italian beef that did not get touched @ $ 50 (we ordered two on his recommendation). The problem is that the facility probably gets a kick back, so they want you to order a lot of food. Since we rented the whole place, they should have allowed us to cater the event ourselves. Sure, you don’t want to run out of food, but this place does 10+ parties a week. They should be better with this estimate or just not give an opinion.
–Wanted to charge $ 0.75 per bottle (6 oz). In the end he put pitchers of ice water or that would have been another $ 75-​$ 100.
–Completely understaffed the party. Again, if you’re going to nickel and dime people, make sure you have enough employees to serve the party. Don’t get me wrong, the people were very nice, 2.5 people was not enough.
–Charged us $ 1 per coffee. He said he usually charges $ 1.50 and cut us a break.
The problem with these places is that they get you to sign and then all the «other» stuff starts to pile on, so just beware. I guess my point is that you don’t get much for the $ 600 rental. That price is the real problem. I don’t think it’s worth the $ 300/​hour, if nothing else in included.

Spent my son’s 2^nd birthday here and we had such a great time that we have been coming here ever since. For almost six months our son has become the avid jumper, thanks to the Jump Zone.
