Style Onsite

Looking for anything wedding related in the Chicago area is so overwhelming because there are just SO many options. How do you know who’s actually good and who’s just trying to get on the wedding band wagon. I found Style Onsite through one of the wedding websites (The Knot, I believe) and I am very happy I did because they did a great job. They were really patient. I had two trials because I didn’t like my first one. They were really accommodating and everyone’s hair looked great. I loved my make up as well. I would definitely recommend them. I love that they come to you and that their prices are comparable to a lot of other salons and stylists.

Sam is such a talented makeup artist and instructor. I took a makeup class that she taught and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. As a teacher, she is extremely knowledgeable about products and methods, as well as how to convey it to others. As an artist, she genuinely listens to what her clients want and delivers amazingly. I highly recommend Samantha for makeup artistry.

I made an appointment with Samantha for a private make-​up application and instruction. She was a referral to me by my friend Kira, who took her class a year ago. Samantha was very professional and down-​to-​Earth. She was an absolute expert with filling in my eyebrows and showing me the proper techniques. Half the battle was just knowing the right products for the job! She spent a significant amount of time differentiating bronzer, contour and highlight; and how to apply those specific to each face shape. She also went through the basics of BB, CC, foundation, tinted moisturizers, etc. -
And let me just say, fake eyelashes?, yes please! I cannot picture my life without them now. Once Samantha showed me the correct way to wear them and not get glue lumps everywhere, I was hooked.
Sweet Jesus, her eye make-​up skills are clutch! She showed me everything from a bright peacock blue and purple eye, a smoky eye, a shimmery gold eye and a natural muted eye for work. Also, its nice to have a Make-​up artist’s and instructors honest perspective on quality products, not just randomly shopping for stuff at make-​up counters and Ulta when I’m killing time.
I really enjoyed Samantha’s class. She has a lot of experience and I will absolutely use Samantha when I need a professional make-​up artist. I was beyond impressed.
I would highly recommend taking her class too, so much fun and educational!

Liz, Nancy, and Colleen were amazing! Not only did my hair and makeup turn out beautiful on my wedding day, but they also took a lot of time with my bridesmaids, readers, and mother of the groom and made all of them feel just as special. I love the stylists at Style Onsite! You can’t go wrong with any of them! Leslie has been doing my hair for 10+ years, and I always feel amazing walking out of there! Wedding hair and makeup:
Style Onsite did hair and makeup for my
Wedding in October 2015. Three words: amazing, amazing, amazing! We had Leslie and Ashley doing hair and Nancy and Colleen doing makeup, and all 4 were awesome. They did 6 bridesmaids hair and makeup, plus 2 moms who have never had their hair or makeup done before, and my bridal updo and makeup. They worked so quickly especially with each bridesmaid wanting something totally different. I had some picky bridesmaids too and they responded really well to any changes the girls wanted.
My great experience started with my hair and makeup trial at the salon a few weeks before the wedding. Leslie did a great job duplicating the photo I showed her. She listened to what kind of dress I was wearing and how I wanted to wear my veil, and made everything work for what I wanted.
Nancy did my trial and day-​of makeup. Nancy is my hero. She is so incredibly talented and takes a lot of pride in her work. She spent over an hour on my trial makeup. I am someone who does not wear a lot of makeup and she did a great job coaching me through everything and explaining why she was doing certain things. She made me feel comfortable with what I chose and even helped my mom and I take some pictures after the trial was over to show how everything would show up in photos.
I’m not quite sure what is a good average price for wedding hair and makeup, but Style Onsite was worth every penny. Not only do they travel to your location, but they are so professional and know how to get shit done. PLUS, at the time I booked, they were offering a discount for the number of bridesmaids I had. They helped make an otherwise stressful morning so much fun :)

I used Style On Site for my wedding. Jen & Nancy were so great! My mom, my maids, and myself all looked incredible! They completely killed the makeup game and they’re fun and pleasant to have around! Definitely will use them again next time I need my makeup professionally done!

Liz was right on time and she was very helpful! She was able to give me the exact look that I wanted and even helped me figure out my updo. She came prepared and was ready to go. I got a lot of compliments for my makeup and hair and even though we did them at 7 am they lasted till midnight. I would highly recommend them for any events.

Style On Site did hair and makeup for my bridal party this past weekend and I am so happy with our experience! From the start, Leslie and Ashley were super responsive to my emails and getting us scheduled. They accommodated a change mid-​way through our planning so that we could come to the shop instead of them coming to us, which worked better for us. Bridget did my hair and Sam did my makeup and both were fantastic — they created exactly what I asked for, both at the trial and on the actual day. We had 10 girls come in on my wedding day — they had made us a schedule ahead of time and I never felt rushed. We all absolutely loved our hair and makeup, and it lasted all day and night! I would highly recommend Style On Site!

I’ve been seeing Leslie at Style on Site for a few years now. She works very well with my thick, curly hair and I’ve gone from short hair to long hair to short again with her and have always been satisfied as I’ve tried out different looks. She does my color, too. Leslie always has good suggestions for products, and is very flexible with rescheduling my appointment when I need to travel on business. The salon is clean and comfortable, the Style on Site team is friendly, and I always feel welcomed. You will be very pleased with the customer service and the quality of services at Style on Site.

Went there for Prom hair and makeup foru daughter. Best experience and awesome job by Ashley! The other owner, Leslie, took great care of us. The makeup artist did a nice job giving us a natural but glamorous look. I would highly recommend them to anyone. FIVE STARS !!!

I took my mom here to get her hair permed and we were not disappointed at all. My mom has thick Indian hair and we were worried if the perm would last even a wash ! The services were great and end result was great as well. Its been over two months and the curls still exist :) Will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This is my first Unilocal review. I signed up just to comment on Style Onsite. They were hired to do my hair and make-​up as well as my bridesmaids hair for my September 6, 2014 wedding. There is no words to express my experience. It was Perfect! The two ladies were so nice and funny and make you feel at ease before one of the biggest days of your life. They really do care and love what they do as it shows in their work. I love that they do not make you look like a completely different person but just an improved version of yourself! I felt beautiful and looked beautiful because of this company. I am a woman who never gets her hair or make-​up ever done and now I look for reasons to have my hair and make-​up done by them. I thank them for making me feel like a beautiful bride. I will recommend you to any and everyone I know.
