This is a very reasonable moving company for local and short distance moves. Tom Hanley is the owner. His crew is courteous and hard working. Very polite throughout the move. They did not waste your time and got right to work. They were very careful with my items and treated my grandmothers table with respect! Highly recommend this outfit. This was the third time I used them too…

Local move of estate furniture coming in to my house, and my furniture to curb. Got quoted a price from another mover that was *double* what Hanley quoted, so I was worried that maybe they wouldn’t be good? THEY WERE AMAZING! Tom the owner **worked alongside his crew**, (what boss works WITH his employees!?) just as hard as they did carrying things. He communicated with them every step of the way to make sure nothing was less than perfect. Crew arrived on time after a confirmation phone call from them. Polite, professional and FAST– they got the job done in ½ the time we had allotted. They made sure I checked each room to so it was set up as I wished. Unlike another moving company I had used previously, none of the items were damaged, there was no wall or floor damage. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I used Hanley Movers yesterday to move to a new home about 25 minutes from where I had been living.
Prior to choosing Hanley, I had contacted several other companies. Many never even got back to me; those who did had complicated/​confusing «packages,» offered only labor and wanted me to rent my own truck, provided less support (only two guys rather than three), and all of the ones I spoke to wanted more money.
Hanley arrived at exactly the time we had scheduled. They took a few moments to walk through the house with me so I could point out which items I wanted them to take. They quickly generated a plan for the best order in which to pack to maximize space and time. The three movers worked seamlessly to disassembly, carefully wrap (if necessary), and pack up everything I had indicated. The communication among themselves was incredible, and there was never wasted time. Although they had a sizable truck, the move did require two trips due to the number and size of the items I was moving.
Given my experience yesterday, I confidently recommend Hanley movers for their professionalism, timeliness, courtesy, and pricing.
