First of all, it’s overpriced, to say the least. Then it took an hour for delivery. Then everything I ordered was wrong, and it was another hour before I got my cold food. As a wrap up, overpriced, two hours for cold food. Stay far away from this place.

Superrrrr ridiculously greasy pizza! Greasier than normal. I’m thinking they have to be drizzling a half cup of oil for presentation’s sake, greasy… Oh, and it’s overpriced. No thanks.

Their pizza is very good… however, their health rules are non existent. I had to wait a few minutes for my pizza to come out of the oven. The lady at the counter was running the cash register, making change, then handling the garlic knot rolls without washing her hands or wearing gloves. Using bare hands to handle food completely against health code. Then I looked at the guy boxing my pizza… no hair covering at all, and no gloves on his hands! Another guy in the back was preparing a pizza bare handed and touching the ingredients. I hate to see this lack of health code regulations, since we always thought their pizza was the best. Certainly, we will never order pizza from Marotta’s again

The first couple of times, that we ordered pizza from Marotta’s it was very good. I remember calling them when we ordered the broccoli pizza, that was delicious and I told them the pizza was fantastic. But now, we have ordered from Marotta’s on 5 separate occasions and every time we ask to get a well done or a crispy crust, it is not crispy the mushrooms are not cooked and for $ 18+ dollars, you deserve a better pizza. Not to mention when I order it, the order taker says sorry about that, we can give you another one in 45 minutes or I can give you 10% on your next order. Marotta’s take your pizza and the 10% and stick it. I will make sure that everyone knows how lousy your service and pizza is.

If you are looking for a phenomenal pizza, garlic knots, and great customer service this is the place to go!!! I just had surgery and haven’t been able to really eat much. Desperately seeking something to eat that wouldn’t upset my stomach I said to my boyfriend, let’s get pizza. I search for places in the area and Marotta’s was the first one that popped up. I checked out their menu, and immediately new white pizza was what I wanted. We call the order in, added broccoli and ricotta cheese and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. When we got there our order was ready, the young lady who waited on us was very kind, had a big smile and was very Pleasant to deal with. I looked over and just happen to see garlic knots, and she was happy to add them to my order. When we got home everything was hot, fabulous, and very delicious. Again if you’re ever looking for a phenomenal pizza and a happy group of people this is the place to go! They do NOT disappoint.

Been here three times. Don’t quite know why. I’ve eaten at Marottas on Union and it’s heads above the pizza here. I always feel like they’re interrupting doing personal business to get me my food. The flavors are good, but the overall take is flabby and pedestrian. I don’t understand why one restaurant is excellent and the pizza joint is mediocre???

I still order most of my Pizza and«Italian» take out from here. They are consistently good. One delivery guy forgot one of our appetizers and drove back to get it and returned in speed limit breaking time. Update: They now have a decent gluten free crust available but beware– cross contamination is a big issue. So if you’re super sensitive or Celiac I would avoid it. We haven’t been ordering here much since my son’s diagnosis of Celiac’s Disease.

Marotta’s pizza features a crispier crust than most NY-style pizzerias in the area(to our liking), and is slightly more greasy than normal. It’s a cheesy pizza, with the sauce subsumed quite a bit, so the cheese flavors predominate over the tomatoey ones. We tried the fairly standard sausage and pepperoni, which was, well, OK. The buffalo chicken evinced noticeable hotness, but the chicken was predictably a bit dry from having been cooked twice. The veggies were standard fare, nothing particularly fresh or original about the pizza recipes or combinations. This is just a standard, perfectly decent neighborhood pizza joint. Probably not worth a trip out of your way but if you’re in the neighborhood you could do worse.

I live close to Marottas so I’ve had it a number of times. Usually just get a cheese pizza. Crust is crispy and sauce is delicious. I usually ask for a side of pizza sauce to dip my crust in, but I’m a sauce freak and like WAY too much! The annoying thing is they charge for delivery like $ 2 or something. I only live a few blocks away so it’s easy enough to go pick up. But I was shocked to hear the price was $ 14(plus an additional tip?) for a cheese pizza the first time I attempted delivery. Needless to say I went and picked it up.

Ordered pizza at my brothers house. Order a 8 cut special, which includes 12wings and a 2 liter soda. Pizza was cheesy hardly any sauce on the pizza reminded me of Pizza Huts pizza… YUCK!, wings were good nice and crispy. We never received the soda.
