Best bread in New York. So soft and delicious. I always make sure I get some when I go back to Schenectady to visit.

Swiss Bread?!
Once upon a time this bakery made great bread.
Sadly, this is no longer the case. The loaves often have large holes throughout. In one memorable instance there was crust, perhaps ½″ of bread while the rest was a fist sized hole through the whole loaf!
Communication to the bakery was initially rebuffed; several phone calls and emails later (hey, I cannot afford to throw away bread for $ 6 a loaf!) the sentiment seemed to be «If you don’t like it, don’t buy it».
