Been going to Sals for my meat they are a bit pricier than the chain grocery stores but we find there meat much better and when they have sales can be cheaper than the big chain stores. We will continue going to Sals.

A good place for fresh meat/​deli as they are a tad more expensive, but with good quality meat. It isn’t a problem for me.

Went to Sal’s to purchase meat last minute for a family gathering. Once I arrived I was overwhelmed with various scents of spices and such. After looking at the various (over priced) products I ended up only purchasing their ground beef, which was more expensive than the local supermarket but appeared to be superior quality which was fine with me.
Also purchased [what was supposed to be a 10lb bag of] boneless chicken breast for $ 1.89/lb. After cleaning off all the fat and a few bones from it I ended up with just over 7lbs of chicken and about 3lbs of fat, water and bones. Definitely not happy with the chicken as it looks (gray) and feels different (rough/​old) than what I’ve bought from other local meat markets and grocery stores.
