I’m only taking the time to review this shop to warn others about the ridiculous treatment they provide their customers with. The staff is rude and the store rules are absurd, but it all comes down to the manager who made up the rules and to whom they must report to every time. Anyways, my bf was trying to buy cigarettes and he had his NY State ID, but I didn’t so they would not sell to us without my ID. Later on, he walked in alone to buy them, and they still wouldn’t sell them because I had walked in without my ID. I mean HELLO, if I were under age, I would have never walked in the first place. What if Grandma doesn’t have her ID, you are going to deny her alcohol or cigars? Really? Then I show my USA Passport ID Card and they would not accept it. PP ID CARDS NOT ACCEPTED!!! Because they don’t report to IMMIGRATION!!! What??? The most legit form of ID in the UNITED STATES. GEE! I have travelled through the US and Canada with my PP ID Card, and yet they won’t sell us cigarettes or beer. All they needed to confirm was my DOB. Anyways, the hotel staff told us about other ridiculous incidents like these. They obviously are ignorant and have no clue about the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE. We had a group of 100 people who did not shop there after they heard about this. BE CAREFUL BUSINESS OWNERS! You just never know who’s walking in your premise.
