Brought my son here to split a sub. Glad I did, it’s like a loaf of Italian bread! We ordered a tuna sub, with peppers and provalone. Took about 10 min to make, because they make the tuna fresh, but worth the wait, delicious and half was definitely all I could do! My mom ordered a chicken parm dinner and she was eating it for two days. A great deal for under $ 10! My son had won a breakfast sandwich from this place at school and raves about how good it was. I’ll have to swing down there and verify. All in all an excellent quick food experience.

Had my daughter pick up 2 roast beef subs last week. All I can say is they were so fresh and great. Also, they don’t skimp on the size. Can’t wait to go back for more.

Philly cheesesteak pizza was phenomenal! Decent antipasto & boneless wings– which are actually fresh chicken! The sauce for the wings was great also. The Tasty’s sauce is like a combo of medium wing sauce &BBQ. Wings were a bit dry, which was the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We’ll be back for sure!

Good pizza! Located next to Poppy’s Ice Cream and across the street from the South Schenectady FD, Tasty Pizzeria is a cozy pizza shop offering traditional thin crust and Sicilian stye pizzas, calzones, subs, wraps, salads, appetizers, pasta, and dinner plates. The prices here seem fair and they offer specials during the week. On Mon & Tues, they offer a 12 cut cheese pizza for $ 9(pick up only) and they offer pizza by the slices too. Fresh Italian bread loafs are sold for $ 2 each as well. The place is not very big and geared towards takeout and delivery with a few seats in front of the counter along the windows. The kitchen area is behind the counter and the staff can be seen making food and pizzas. I stopped here for dinner takeout over the weekend. I ordered a 12 cut Sicilian Eggplant Pizza($ 14.49 plus tax), which took about 25 minutes to be ready since it was a thicker style crust. I watched my pizza being made from start to finish including had stretching the dough onto a rectangular baking tray and adding sauce and toppings. The pizza was baked in the pan and then taken out of the pan and baked for a short moment out of the pan to firm the crust. The pizza tasted pretty good! The Sicilian pizza(12 square slices 4×3) had a thick firm crust(soft inside) topped with the right amount of tomato sauce, melted cheese, and thin slices of breaded eggplant, browned on top. I enjoyed two slices fresh out of the oven before even leaving the place. I enjoyed the rest of my pizza over a few days back at my office in NH. This kind of Sicilian style pizza is not widely offered where I live.
