I remain a fan of Verizon’s network and little else, from their odd online support and business arrangements that needlessly balkanize their various products/services to their far-from-helpful bricks and mortar stores. My experience with this location is mezzo-mezzo: they did get me a replacement battery for my somewhat old phone but neglected to give me accurate advice about the free or low cost phones I qualified for instead of paying for my replacement battery(which I only figured out after I’d bought the thing, of course) but on the third hand they warned me off the«official» phones the location displays were pushing in favor of waiting a few months based on their own experiences. The display models here seem to be in varying states of functionality, which I don’t find helpful, and I can never find the accessories I’m looking for and end up ordering them online from third parties much of the time.(Maybe I should give them a thumbs up for that?) In any event, the store is there, you will need to use it occasionally if you’re already a Verizon customer, and as far as walking in cold looking for a new phone or plan, while I can hardly recommend it, I know of several other worse alternatives in line-of-sight from this place belonging to other purveyors so you could definitely do worse. How’s that for damning with faint praise? Well, the whole industry is corrupt and venal, a pox on all their houses, I say, and thank goodness there’s still a little competition.
