I went to go see this doctor and he misdiagnosed me and only recommended surgery. I’m glad I got a second opinion. I do not recommend him.

I had my first visit with Dr Ray about a week ago. I went there expecting the same old news I’ve heard from 3 other podiatrist…“we will schedule surgery to correct your feet… or I can cut off the heel bone and move it, secure it with pins”…I’ve been through the first recommendation twice and am very skeptical of podiatrist now. Imagine my surprise when I meet Dr Ray, he is compassionate, caring and very professional… he took the time to listen and explain to me what is going on with my feet and why… he gave me great ways to take care of my feet without surgery… thank you dr ray… I can now walk around my floors pain free… anyone who has bad painful feet… call dr ray, you won’t regret it

I started going to Dr. Ray years ago when I couldn’t get in to see a family friend. I’m glad I started going to see him!!! He’s been able to properly diagnose everything wrong with my feet. I started having problems with my feet after I started with the railroad, and I knew that I would be on my feet for the rest of my career. After the initial consultation, he even told me about other issues I might face in the future and what signs to look for if and when they occur. I’ll admit I nearly passed out when he said I might have to have surgery(and this was just an initial conversation and it was unrelated to what I first went in for and way in the future!). Now that I’ve got my manlyness back in tact, I’ll continue. I’ve been able to call him with issues, and the nurses have gone out of their way to get me an appointment, either that day, or whatever best fits my schedule. When I first got my feet fixed, I was able to do more active things because my feet didn’t hurt. When I was able to do more active things, I wanted to be more active. By being more active, it snowballed and I ended up losing a ton of weight! Big bonus!!! Literally… According to his business card, he provides Advanced, Comprehensive Foot & Ankle Care including ankle pain, arch and heel pain, bunions, diabetic foot care, hammertoes, ingrown nails, sports medicine, sprains and fractures, warts and neuromas, and Workman’s Comp. He’s a DPM, FACFAS, and FACFAOM I have no idea what all that means, I just know he’s one of the best out there! He’s got a great boot-side manner, and he talks to the family to help make sure the patient understands what’s going on, that way the family can help too. I keep him on speed dial!
