Fannie May Fine Chocolates

This location is very clean and neat. When you come in the door they are fast to greet you. They always offer you a sample (sometimes 2!) and are very helpful in putting your order together. They seem to enjoy where they work, I know I love being around chocolate but if I worked there I would be in trouble.

I like chocolate, most people do. All too often I personally forget about Fannie May unless it is Valentine’s or Mother’s Day. These stores are open year round and offer the same great treats we have grown accustomed to giving as gifts during special holidays.
The staff at the Schererville location are always very friendly and eager to learn why you are buying the chocolates so that they can recommend the best product for your needs. The facility itself is spotless the parking lot provides plenty of parking except the day before and on Valentines or Mother’s Day. Then it can be a little crazy.
I was in this location yesterday and purchased a thank you gift of 1 pound of truffles for an employee. The staff member that helped me yesterday afternoon was courteous and extremely helpful… As I mentioned I have grown accustomed to this level of service at this location.
While at the store, I claimed a free piece of chocolate which was a nice treat… despite the fact that I normally get a free taste of chocolate without the Unilocal offer. Perhaps two pieces of chocolate should be given for those that are participating in the Unilocal program, it seemed a bit strange (almost cheesy) to get something that everyone else would get…
