Rosati’s Pizza

Another familiar pizza place with locations in Illinois and Indiana, Rosati’s is a solid choice. They consistently put out a quality and memorable pizza no matter what crust type you choose. I went with thin crust and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. What I like most about Rosati’s is the crust. It’s a flour base with a buttery finish. With this, the crust isn’t very crispy, but it adds a dynamic to the rest of the pizza for an amazing balance of flavor. It’s a really smooth bite with an explosion of flavor. It can be a little messy towards the middle, but I’m a sucker for those pieces. The pepperoni and sausage are very well-​seasoned and cook well into the generous amount of cheese. Sauce is smooth and savory. With the amount of cheese and meat toppings, it is shockingly not greasy. Rosati’s is one of those spots that I’ll never hesitate to get back-​to-​back pizza orders.

Amazing Pizza! Great thin Crust… always hot and fresh!

After driving from Texas, we were tired and craving a «Chicago style pizza». Rosatis hit the spot. I was a little shocked at the price but once the pies came it was clear we had over-​ordered. A large and medium stuffed crust feeds an army! Seriously, a small stuffed crust would have fed all 4 of us. Delicious and very nice people on the phone.

The Calzones are good but it took half an hour to make one calzone! Seriously by the time it finally got here my soda filled me up !! And there were only 2 people here when I ordered and it took this long! The calzone also had way to much cheese, I was pulling string after string out of it so I didn’t get sick on it, it’s one thing to have the right amount of cheese but this is like they out 2 lbs of
Cheese in!

Love eating here especially on Fridays when they have live entertainment. The pizza is awesome, the chicken is delicious, and the vodka pasta is mouthwatering. Never had a bad experience here. A must try if you haven’t yet.

Pizza was average… girl on the phone was not very polite; almost condescending! Def priced in the high side.

I very rarely order from any pizza place aside from my two go-to’s. Since my boyfriend’s family lived just a block away from the establishment, I figured one night it was quick, easy and I had to try it out. Their online ordering system was simple to get through, and upon picking up my order I was pleasantly surprised at how delightful my experience had been thus far. Will return and add this to my list of current go-to’s.

Now im from the Chicago so, im a major Food Snob! This is the best pizza in the area. We always get the thin, sauté spinach, sausage, extra sauce easy cheese on every pizza. yummy give them a try you will enjoy

We’ve been here before and I wasn’t impressed at all! This time we had quite a wonderful experience. The restaurant is a seat yourself establishment so we did just that. Waitress was helping a table directly behind the booth we were seated in and she completely ignored us for all of 9 minutes. Walked over to the counter and just twiddled her thumbs. Annoying to say the least! Well, before I could say anything a very friendly and busy waitress from the complete opposite side of the restaurant came over and asked if we had been helped. She was such a joy and made the experience that much better!
On to the food! My husband had a sausage and jalapeño pepper pizza that was delicious! Kids had chicken tenders and spaghetti and they were happy with the outcome! I had a julienne salad with a creamy garlic dressing on the side… Yummy! That dressing needs to be bottled and sold! Wonderful experience this time around :)

Our family eats here often! The service has definitely improved. The food is delicious! The bruschetta is outstanding if you love bruschetta. The pizza is delicious whether it is thin crust or stuffed. My son gets the boneless wings and loves them with the bbq sauce. Spicy beef sandwich is also amazing and they have draft beer.

Their all meat pizza is awesome. We typically don’t go to the restaurant in the winter because the way it was laid out there was no windbreaker and you froze to death whenever anyone opened the door. Well we tried again tonight and they remodeled a bit. The airlock they put in would be worthy of any version of the space shuttle. Nice and warm, and the food was great as always. One suggestion I would make is to serve the chicken parmigiano on a plate instead of a large bowl, you can’t cut the chicken when it’s stacked on top of a bowl of spaghetti.

I feel it’s only fair to let everyone know that Rosatis listened & made improvements. I’ve had the pizza many times again. It’s been consistently yummy. Sausage is flavorful, sauce is tangy, crust is thin & crispy. The crust could use something though. The house salad dressing is amazing! Thank you Rosatis, especially since you are 5 minutes from my house.

The food is 4 stars the service and pricing 2.5 maybe. They make a delicious and flavorful pie but that’s if you like a lot of toppings. I usually order the dish that has veggies and 2meat selections. There’s a name for it but I don’t recall. It’s delicious and so is the manicotti. It’s unfortunate the service is sub par. They never make you feel welcomed or seem enthused to have customers. The pizza is a bit costly as well so if you’re looking to splurge on something yummy, go there but beware of the ambiance.

Hmmm… some of the negative reviews surprise me. I’m not from this area, and was looking for good pizza. I tried the famous Chicago deep dish from a popular pizza place here and it was nasty. I was delighted to find Rosatis. Yes it’s expensive but the pizza is so flavorful. Its almost as good as Donatos, a popular pizza chain back home. I really love Rosatis pizza.

Stick to carry-​out and eat in the peace and quiet of your own home! The service we had tonight was not good at all– the only reason I give 3 stars is that the pizza was great–
Went in on a Friday night with the kids to reward them with some Pizza. Immediately we were assaulted with extremely loud music from some local musician (s) that play there on Friday nights. If it were a bar that would be one thing, but live music doesn’t draw families out. We could hardly hear ourselves talk, the waitress couldn’t hear when we gave our order, it was overall really uncomfortable having to yell all through dinner.
Our waitress seemed to neglect us quite a bit. We ordered a large pan pizza for my wife and I, assuming we would have a few leftovers– we were served an ENORMOUS pizza by another server, who said «Oh– I always tell people how big this is in case they want a smaller one!» Would have loved to know that and saved a few bucks rather than spend $ 23 on that one!
When our actual server came back I asked our server to split the remains in half so that I could freeze part of the pizza — and use two boxes. She gave me a dirty look at that point like I was inconveniencing her. After that we had to wait at least another 15 minutes before she came back with the bill. Then we got another dirty look when we have her our coupon that we brought with us.
I’ll come back because I love their pizza, but won’t be dining in again–

Really enjoyed their pizza! With a surplus of pizza restaurants around I feel they do well to stand out. Just recently tried them for the first time and I was pretty shocked at how good it was! I really want to try their stuffed pizza next (only had thin crust & double crust so far) and other items from their menu!

Food was overpriced for sure, I got a dinner salad that was really lacking and an expensive pizza that was ok. Normally my fiancé and I will really chow down on pizza but we didn’t even finish what we got. Tried reheating later but it was gross so we tossed it. The place was dead so that should have been a clue. The wait staff, though the place only had a total of two filled tables were not attentive.

It’s different than the older Rosati’s that was across the street, but I like it just as much. They’ve always been accommodating for me and my large family. They even go out of their way to throw a discount to us. They’ve always been polite.
We’ll continue to go back since we’re treated well and everyone loves the food.

Pizza is excellent quality, You will not be dissapointed. Thin Crust Pizza Bianco is Awesome. Have tried many ingredients, along with appetizers. Looking forward to trying some sandwiches next time I go there.

Poor customer service and overpriced.
Was visiting family and ordered in with a request for delivery at a certain time. Food arrive around 30 minutes early. Called to see what happened and took over 10 minutes to get «resolved» with a 10% discount.
