I absolutely love coming here. It is a fantastic place to carb up before a race, due to its unlimited servings as well as the availability of protein. The people working here are always very polite, and the food is always cooked well. I try to come here whenever I can get people to come with me.

Place was dirty. Grease or pop running down painting. Hand stuck to railing around the grill and floor was sticky. Not surprised the place was slow.

I have been here twice. Both times it was very dirty. The staff is friendly enough but not the greatest. You get your own stir fry ingredients and they cook it for you. The place is very dirty and greasy. Don’t touch the railings or walls or your hands will get stuck on. The pictures on the wall were even filled with filth. Only reason I don’t give one star is because it is a stir fry place, so it could be somewhat hard to keep grease in control.

I love this place! The owners are always there and are super friendly. The food is great because 1) it’s all you can eat and 2) you pick and choose what you want in each of your dishes and they cook it right then and there! I drove past this place every day for years and never stopped in until a few months ago, but now I’m obsessed.

I’ve done both the Mongolian grill part of this restaurant as well as ordered Chinese off their regular menu. I got my usual General Tso chicken and it really wasn’t at all what I expected. Heavily peppered and not very good. The buffet part is worth the fee and the reason for their 3 stars. It’s not ever top busy so my only consent is if they reuse ingredients.

We really enjoy build your own stir fry places. It seems that this place gives you a lot for the money with appetizers, soup and dessert also included.

Finally got around to trying this place and we were pleasantly surprised. I liked the idea of controlling what I got to eat and all of the different combos you can make. I love really hot sauces with a kick and garlic. My boyfriend tried the spring rolls and crab rangoon and said it was just ok. This is a great place to go to when you want a lot of food for your dollar, and if you don’t know what to eat.

We have been here 2 times. Both times the place looked filthy and it takes them forever to clean off tables probably because it seems like no one works there. The ingredients needed to be filled and things wiped down. I took my plate up to be cooked and I got my food back and it wasn’t cooked all they way through. They took it away and just recooked it on the same cook top. Not sure that is very sanitary. I doubt that we will be back.

This place is awesome. Great all you can eat stir fry. Make me hungry just thinking about it. Sauces are fantastic. I can’t get enough of this place. Much better stir fry then that big buffet place by southlake mall.

This was a new experience for me. I thought it was strange walking up to a buffet of raw food and just putting it in a bowl. But wow, this food is great. They sure know how to cook up some delicious stir fry! I would recommend Ye’s to everyone.

I’ve been coming to Ye’s for years now and find myself finally getting around to writing a review. The concept of Ye’s Mongolian Grill is simple enough: walk up to the raw food bar, create a bowl of your chosen veggies and proteins(along with a cup or two of one of their various sauces), and bring it up to the folks working the large circular grill in the center of the restaurant. In a couple of minutes they will turn around and reveal a larger bowl filled with all your goodies, cooked up to order. Rinse and repeat the process until you are full to bursting. Everyone is really nice, the owner included. Service is brisk and friendly, so no worries if you decide to actually order from the menu they have(as Ye’s is also a full-service Chinese restaurant in addition to a Mongolian stir-fry joint). I can’t say I ever do though; I’m busy enough as is with all the choices for stir-fry bowls. My only complaints are minor and would never stop me from going there. A slight revamp to the«complimentary» appetizers and soups would be nice; I love egg drop and hot and sour, but damned if a little wonton soup surprise wouldn’t blow my mind one day. I would also applaud an update to the music, if only because I’ve heard the same«Asian Restaurant Remix» version of Colors of the Wind about once every time I go. To conclude, Ye’s is a great restaurant in its own right, as well as being the only restaurant of its type in the local area to my knowledge. Make it happen, cap’n.

We started coming here shortly after they opened a few years ago. At first I was skeptical, the décor could use some work but You don’t go to Ye’s because its so nice inside, you go for the amazing all you can eat flat top grill at an amazing price! For 9.99 at dinner you get ayce crab Rangoon, egg rolls, 2 soups(I don’t like the soups at all), salad bar, dessert and of course a ton of sauces and seasonings to accompany the stir fry bar! Such a good deal! The guys that cook up your creation always do a great job. The only thing that could use some work is the service, the lady who always waitresses doesn’t care about checking on you or refilling your beverage. She isn’t friendly whatsoever and is only concerned about doing the minimum so she can get back to sitting in the back. The food and price keep us coming back!

This place is pretty good for the area. Not fancy or anything, with tasty food. But if you advertise on your awning $ 6.99 lunch buffet, then you shouldnt charge $ 7.49 once you get in. Only 50 cents but FALSEADVERTISING is just that…

I really enjoy this place. I love the idea of being in control of what I eat. I always help myself to tons of veggies and meat and serve it over some noodles. When making your own sauce, use caution. The sauces are very potent. I made he mistake of adding too much and had to dilute it with additional vegetables and meat. Their rangoons are a bit on the oily side and the filling is also lacking but decent. I really enjoy the selection of desserts, I have a huge sweet tooth and this is what I am all about! It is a very clean establishment with very nice people. The owners are working the stations and always have a generous smile for patrons. Th person manning the stirfry station does seem like they don’t want to be there and very blah, but I guess that is their problem. not mine. As long as my food is well cooked, the establishment is clean and the food delicious– I could care less.

As far as stir-fry goes, Ye’s rocks… I love the idea of literally building my own meal each time I go up to the buffet. There is a variety of meats, veggies, and delicious sauces to choose from, and the combinations are endless. If you don’t feel like making your stir fry combo, there is a menu of food you can order and have brought to the table… Although, the stir-fry is really the shining star of this joint. They have some decent beer choices: Sapporo and Kirin Ichiban come to mind. I’ve had a few of their appetizers –decent, but nothing I’d rave about. The chefs are pretty quiet and don’t really converse with the patrons, but that is a minor detail that has no impact on the food or experience. The food is always good right and delicious, and that’s all this gal can ask for.

Dang it. Saigon noodle house is closed on tuesdays. That’s TWICE now I’ve got burned coming up here for lunch. Dang short term memory loss. Wait, that’d be long term. All I wanted was a hot bowl of phở. Food seems fresh enough though we all decided to avoid the fish. The cook seems very annoyed I didn’t put the sauce on the side. Geez Jose there wasn’t a sign! Despite the cooks seemingly foul mood to ALL the patrons… the food was cooked well and was pretty tasty. Let’s be honest though, your in charge of your own fate here. Maybe he should find a new job? Or maybe the four guys at the table across from us were border patrol? They kinda looked like cops. Then my brother tells me Saigon noodle house has new owners. Great. Yup and a white girl seems to be running the front of the house. Are you KIDDING me? Nope. My favorite place is probably on a downward spiral. Gonna have to go back to hating Merrillville maybe…

My family and I have been here a handful of times. We like it. We like it enough to bring friends. It’s a fun experience and if you know what you’re doing the food is really good too. The food is what you make of it. You put your own meats and veggies into a bowl and pastas into another bowl. You choose sauces(dry and/or wet) then you can watch them cook the food for you. A few tips… …They cook the bowl with your meats and veggies first so if you have certain veggies that you prefer undercooked than put them in the bowl with your noodles. …For my sauces I happen to like the peanut sauce, mongolian sauce, hot pepper sauce and garlic sauce. I also add fresh garlic. They offer white rice, brown rice or Indian bread as a side to your meal. They have an actual menu from which you can order but I’ve never done that so obviously I have no opinions. On Wednesdays their buffet is all you can eat for $ 7.99 — way worth it! And the service is better than it used to be(which I didn’t think was so horrible to begin with).
