Giving this housekeeping service 1 star is 1 star too many. We purchased a plan to have 8 hours of housekeeping service. We have a 1200 square foot house so not a lot of area to clean. There was even 1 bedroom we did not want them to even clean. Prior to their arrival all the clutter and mess was cleaned up by myself. I was looking for someone to come in and do all the dusting, wipe the baseboards, dust the blinds, clean the bathrooms, wipe cupboards and doors, mop and vacuum. We had arranged for a 300 pm time for them to be at our home, around 10 am they are calling and wanting to be there earlier which as not possible as we were both at work. They were trying to say there would be traffic if they work later. Well surprise they were late, arrived between 315 – 320 pm. There were 3 ladies which meant we were to have them for 2.66 hours per their ad. Originally we were told there would be 4 people for 2 hours. The ladies came in and asked what my priorities were I explained what they were. I was told they would do as much as they could in time allotted. I had the feeling that they had no intentions of finishing my priority list… had a bad vibe from start. The lady who seamed to be in charge went to the master bedroom. She started out with making my bed and messing with pillows, after about 15 minutes of seeing that from another room I went in and told her that was not really a priority on my «cleaning» list. That is why I had all the linens and decorative pillows up on bed out of the way. She continued to waste time on that. In the mean time the lady in kitchen is cleaning and manages to knock a knick knack off the ledge between living room and kitchen. Luckily it did not break or dent wall. The ladies continued to «clean» I went out on patio to be out of the way. They did say they do not move any furniture which I understand as far as large pieces. I however observed them mopping my kitchen floor and not even sliding the kitchen chairs out from under the table(I only have 4 and the are not some heavy solid wood chairs). there was a small laundry basket in bedroom half full of towels to be washed, they vacuumed around it. Really?!? At 500 pm they said they were done so they worked for 1 hour 40 minutes not the 2.66 hours we paid for. They asked us to come and look around to inspect. I went to master bedroom and looked at bathroom where supervising lady cleaned the corners of the floors were still dirty with the lint dust that builds up in bathrooms. The tub still looked dirty. Baseboards were not dusted in the bedroom. The other ladies did a good job with main bathroom, laundry room and living room. At this point I was done I think she could tell I was not too impressed with the job and proceeded to explain about the special coating they put on tub to make clean up easier the next time. I just wanted them out at this point. After they left I had to wipe down doors and remove dust from the panels, I dusted the baseboards. I had to pull at the vacuum and use the attachment to run along all carpet where it meets the baseboards. In the master bathroom there was attempt to even clean behind the toilet there was dust and hair there. The top of the fridge was never wiped down, probably because no one thought to bring a stool. Bedroom ceiling fan was not properly cleaned either due to no stool. Big waste of time basically, for what I paid I could have taken the day off, cleaned the house and saved $ 200 dollars.
