I live fairly close to this place but had never gotten my nails done here before mainly Bc I had never paid attention to it. I was driving by the other day when I spotted the place and the hubby immediately stopped and sent me to ask for pricing. I was super excited when I heard the prices $ 25 for a regular full set $ 30 for regular French tip and $ 35 and up for solar sets. As I looked around the shop I realized it was not a fancy shmancy place… But I can live w that since the prices are a bargain compared to other places I have been to. I returned today to try it out and see if the bargain was worth it. Let me tell you that it was… I was in n out in 45 mins. Of course I showed up around 4:30ish. The man who did my nails was Henry… He was engaging in conversation most of the time. He Introduced himself and told me a bit about his background. He has been a manicurist for the last 13 years. I did walk in there asking for a regular full set and when he was halfway done he said he was going to do a solar set. I was like«ok?». To be fair tho… He gave me a $ 5 discount at the end when I was about to pay. He said Bc it was my first time here. I had asked for a French tip full set so I had already figured it was going to be $ 30 so in the end he basically gave me a solar set for free. Which took that feeling of having been pushed into a pricier set away. I would definitely recommend them. But don’t come here if you are particular w your nails or like those fancy nail places… I will definitely be back to try their $ 15 facial. I was told it takes about 30 mins. I will definitely try it and update this review when I do.

Went here based on the five star rating the other Unilocaler gave and was sorely disappointed. When I give this place two stars — which according to Unilocal means my attitude is «Meh. I’ve experienced better» — I mean to say that I have experienced FARBETTER. This place is in a nearly-abandoned Schertz strip mall. One star for the big trees that provide shade to the cars in the parking lot. The inside of the salon is as stark as the strip mall it sits in: Three outdated massage pedicure chairs; three equally-outdated mani stations; and two dark rooms that I couldn’t see into, but I can only assume are for waxing. Schertz Nails seriously no-frills and appears to be furnished exclusively by garage sale finds. There was no music playing and(thankfully) the large TV sitting in the front room wasn’t on. However, there’s no ambiance of any sort. This was truly bare bones. I’ll give them a second star for having OPI polish, but the pickings were pretty slim. I only saw ONE new bottle of polish. Everything else was about half-empty. There were two people on staff when I went — presumably father and daughter. The man did my nails and was not engaging at all; he didn’t even bother to ask me if I wanted my nails clipped(just went for it). The pedicure was average — no pampering, no massage, and no callus removal, which is kind of the point of a pedicure, right? I can paint my own toenails…(insert eye roll here) Overall, a very uncomfortable and irritating experience. Not warm; not inviting; not relaxing; but at $ 22, certainly a bargain. If you’re looking for luxury, look elsewhere.
