I liked it. Nothing particularly amazing, but to be fair I just had a chicken Caesar salad with wine. It was fine. It was a friday night and not wildly busy. I will definitely try it again so I can test their food better.

I eat at this place frequently. My favorite dish is the breaded salmon. I eat in the restaurant and I have food delivered as well. The quality is consistently good. Service is real decent. Tuscanos is a great neighborhood place.

Came here with a few coworkers on a Tuesday night. They were not busy, but for a Tuesday in January that’s probably not a serious crime. First the good: the bread and olive oil. The bread was really great. Chewy in the inside with a crusty exterior but no dental work needed after consuming. The table olive oil was quite good. I’m not sure it’s a first press(because of the color) but had a lot of flavor. Now the bad: I had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio. It was just meh. And for a tiny tiny pour(I literally think it was 3oz) it was pricy at $ 7. I ordered the veal picante. I will say the veal itself was good. Tender, flavorful and there were three good size pieces. The breaking was a little too eggy for my taste. But the real offense here was the pine nuts. First, they were burnt a bit, second there were about 5 times as many as were needed on my plate. I scooped 3 – 4 spoonfuls off and I still had a ton left. Learn to edit(she said as her review gets longer and longer). The sauce was also a real let down. Flavor was there but far too watery. Just needed to reduce a bit. It came with a size of noodles with red sauce on top. I didn’t actually even try them. But, it’s worth mentioning because for an Italian place they have committed what I consider to be one of the most serious offenses. They didn’t properly drain the noodles. I hate hate double hate loathe entirely when there is a puddle of water sitting under the pasta.(See pic). Either toss the pasta in the sauce… Where a little extra water won’t hurt anything… Or drain the noodles completely. The service was also pretty terrible. One star for the bread. One star for the veal itself. I would not return, and don’t advise you do either.

Food good customer service sucks. Called to place an order… on hold for 7 min. I hung up. Wife called… she’s on hold for 5… when they came back on line they put her on hold again. I told her to hang up. Menu in the garbage.

Service was great but want impressed with food. I ordered the baby back ribs, after asking if they were real tender. I ate a couple of them but they were tough. When I told the waiter he was very helpful and insisted I order something else. I then ordered a filet. It was very tender but had no flavor. I didn’t say anything but I wouldn’t eat there again. Two of us spent just over $ 100. with the tip and I really didn’t enjoy it.

Went to Tuscano on a Sunday afternoon. The giambota was great. They have two different types and both were wonderful. They have a very nice selection of items on the menu and the prices are reasonable. Our server, Nikki, was a delight.

Best encrusted salmon I’ve ever had! And the hugest! Great service! On the downside, skip the minestrone, which is just blah. And, the dining room is a bit worn and lacking in ambiance.

I’ve been to this place several times but tonight I left disappointed. I ordered the usual(margarita pizza), but my husband and I split the coconut shrimp. What a scam! $ 13 for six shrimp which were not even very large. The pizzas took a long time tonight; the waitress told us multiple times that they were coming out in «a few minutes» but it was at least another 20. The service was slow tonight; we had to wait a long time between refills on drinks. I think it will be a long time before we come back, and that’s sad.

Ribeye Steak was excellent and grilled to perfection. Spinach soup and baked potato were great. 5 star service. Bread pudding with caramel sauce is a must have.

The food is not authentic at all. Yikes! Their«special» marinara sauce is like eating tomato paste out of a can with no added flavor. Sort of like Campbell’s tomato soup out of the can. Unbelievable! The baked clams were not fresh and prepared nothing like you would expect in an Italian restaurant. The fried calamari was not crispy. Stuffed artichokes were a disaster, hardly any breading and appeared to have been sitting around for a long time. The other two couples we were with had been there in previous years but noticed the food quality and service drastically went downhill. Our server was very nice but the service was a bit below average. It makes me sad to leave a negative review with only one star. The food here is not good I believe it needs a makeover.

Ordered charbroiled pork chops with mashed potatoes for delivery. Mom had baked salmon, and dad had ½ grecian chicken with vesvivo potatoes. It was outstanding! I wasn’t expecting much with the pork chops(I figured they’d be dry) but it was so good! We all loved our meals, and fast delivery to Park Ridge too! We will be ordering again!

Very disappointed in this place! Arrived at 6:15, did not leave until 8:20. Appetizer of Cajun shrimp was ok. My friend ordered the spinach and ricotta pasta and it literally had no taste to it. I ordered filet mignon kebab medium well… It was cooked beyond well… very chewy dry meat. My friend ordered a beer which never came. When I asked to speak to the waitress and mentioned the food, she got very defensive and didn’t really say much more. She did comp my friends pasta meal, but does not really make up for the bad service, and poor food.

I’ve eaten here twice and had pretty much the same exact experience both times; The good; the food here is quite good, from the cajun & garlic grilled calamari to the Italian chicken, everything was very tasty and nice and warm. Our last meal there we had a pretty big table(7 people) and everyone was happy with the quality(and quantity) of the food. The bad; don’t come here if you are in any kind of a hurry, because the wait staff has no sense of urgency whatsoever. Both times we were here the meal service took 2-hours or more to complete. This last visit we even told our waiter that we were going to a show at the Rosemont Theater(which is only a few blocks away) and had to be out by a certain time. Didn’t matter, as the service was no quicker and we almost missed our show. I might dine here again — if and only if I have a great deal of time to spend on site.

The restaurant is very beautiful. They have a full bar, and even have a person playing piano while the clientel dines! Very entertaining. I went eith my wife for dinner on Friday. The service was great. Very top notch. We ordered the grilled calamari as an appatizer, and a brick oven pizza(which they are known for). The calamari was decent. Dressed simply in salt, pepper and olive oil. The pizza was ok. I was expecting better since they were known for their brick oven pizza. It did have a nice toasty flavor, and their sauce was good! I will give them another shot. I don’t like to one-off anybody. But if its the same results, I’ll just go Pizza Hut. Service is sucky, but at least their pizza is good, and you save yourself some money.

Buona Pasqua(Happy Easter) at a great authentic Italian restaurant. We had a great time and buffet for Easter surrounded by Marion, Bella, Uncle Joe and Tony. Food was fresh and plentiful. Brick oven arugula and prosciutto om cracker crust and the antipasto salad were equally wonderful. The service was spot on and we were seated at our appointed time. I will definitely come back to try some of their veal dishes. p. s. Bellini Martini was the bomb!
