Rita’s Italian Ice

Always dependable in terms of quality and service, this Rita’s Italian Ice won’t disappoint.
It was a glorious day when this Rita’s came to Schuylkill Haven, a cool and tasty Italian ice and low prices. At this point everyone knows what Rita’s is — and ice cream place specializing in Italian Ice (or water ice), either straight up or blended with custard. The Misto has always been a favorite of mine, equal parts ice and custard blended together into a milkshake-​esque drink. The service is always quick and reliable, which is saying something as it’s usually local high school students. The only negative is the small parking lot with the narrow side entrance. There’s also limited seating, all outdoors at a bench and a picnic table along the side of the building. Overall though, it’s worth it for the frozen treats waiting for you.

Same as any other Rita’s, good water ice and frozen treats.
Service is always friendly.
The only thing is trying to park can be a bit crazy. They share a small lot with E&T Pizza.
