First of all the state of the cabins were horrendous. They were paid for and expected to be clean for the wedding party and family. The toilets smelled and clearly had NOT be cleaned in months. The sheets were dirty and a pair of moldy gym socks were left in a partially open drawer in the bride and groom cabin. The yurt with activities was dirty and had several wet towels and swim trunks left behind. The main cabin used for family and groom readiness was also used as an office. There was personal information as well as a calendar showing every event and name. The grill used to make dinner had to be cleaned by the brides dad just to grill bugers. There were layers of dust everywhere. The refrigerator had old dried stains and hair everywhere. There were rodent feces in the main kitchen which was supposed to be used. Nikolle did not show up at the time she said on the day of the wedding. She was supposed to clean off tables which left the bridal party doing everything including cleaning. Most of the tablecloths were stained. So as we set up, majority of our tables had giant brown and tan stains. It’s unfortunate because the place could be really great. This«event» space is simply unprofessional and needs to have management who care about the cleanliness and appearance of Neal Creek Resort in charge. We all would have been better off staying in a motel 6.
