As its name suggests, Dad’s has quite a variety of things. It has a lot of random snacks and drinks that are usually not found in your typical supermarket. That’s usually the case for most convenience stores, however, but up here in this small seaside town it’s not always easy to find some of the obscure items on your shopping list. Overall, this is a pretty well-​placed store, and it will most likely have what you’d expect. One small complaint is that it seems, at times, to take a while to restock.

Quintessential beach town variety store. Only moderately overpriced. Has a wide selection of scratch-​off lotto tickets which attracts a tawdry assortment of vagabonds. Downside risk is no fax machine or copier.
