Kipp’s Painting

Kipp’s painting is just the BEST! My husband and I bought an older home which had a ton of old, very dark gumwood trim. We were hoping to lighten up the house by turning all of the trim white. Bill Kippenberger (the owner) came out right away and gave me a lesson in painting, told me all of our options and gave me information on ways that he would cover all the little dings and cracks/​crevices in the old woodwork. He sent me an estimate within the next 2 days which was very reasonable and extremely detailed. He was also willing to add some trim around my fireplace which made a huge difference in the aesthetic appeal. Bill’s crew (Jim, Pete, Frank and Ernie) are just amazing. Not only are they friendly and hardworking, but they are so respectful and really felt like part of our family once the job was done. I have a one year old and they made sure to clean up everyday so that she wouldn’t get into the paint… they also made sure to use techniques and paint that would not be harmful for her to breathe.
As far as the finished product, we ended up deciding to have them paint most of our home because what they initially did looked SO GOOD. They took 100 year old walls and trim and made it look like new construction. Their prep and coverage of the walls is unbelievable— I never thought our house could look this good. Jim also did quite a few «handyman» projects for us including making all of our old creaky doors actually close and look great! Needless to say we will use them for all of our painting needs in the future (in fact I’m having them come back again in a couple weeks!) You will not be disappointed! You will not find a more reaonsable price (we looked a LOT) or a better end product! :-)
