I am giving this pizza joint(note that I use that term endearingly) two stars because although I only tried one item there, I don’t forsee myself going there again. I found myself there because the deli I had on my GPS apparently doesn’t exist. I look up at the overhead menu board to see what they have and the cashier informs me that that is actually the old menu and I have to look in the paper menus on the counter. Okay. So I order the buffalo chicken wrap. I am asked what I want on it. I am confused by this question because the menu lists everything that [is supposed to come] on it, so I feel forced to repeat every topping that I can think of that I want on it to eloquently complete my order, when I would have been fine just going with what the menu had listed. My doubts about this joint are already setting in. I specify to the cashier that I want the bleu cheese dressing on the side. This request was verbally repeated by both the cashier and someone who seemed to be the cook. I am handed a free scratch off ticket after my order and I win a free 20oz drink! That was a nice touch and I am impressed with that little game. I pick a diet Cherry Pepsi out of a wide selection of soft drinks and water bottles. I wait for my order at one of the tables when I overhear the joint get a call from a customer upset with their order. For five minutes the cook-turned-manager explains over the phone that the cashier made a mistake on the computer when entering the order. Take this as you will but when a customer is upset about an order and ESPECIALLY it is the fault one of the establishment’s employees, the mistake should be rectified instead of just explained away. My doubts are getting more solid. My wrap was finally complete. I get home and open it up. They forgot the bleu cheese on the side. The bleu cheese that the cashier and cook/manager both verbally repeated. My doubts are stone cold at this point and I vow not to return. The wrap itself was, like the rest of my review, a solid 2 out of 5. Weak buffalo sauce, kind of drippy, and the grilled chicken was kind of burnt.

Just ordered pizza from here the other night and the delivery was prompt and the delivery boy was very friendly and respectful. The pizza was delicious. I will definitely order here another night!

The worst pizza in the area. Tried them 2x to be fair. They shouldn’t even be called a pizza place. They should focus on their subs and chicken and leave the pizza to others. Yuck.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into this place is that it was freezing. I guess most pizzerias don’t turn their heat on because of the ovens but I had to eat in my car because the seats felt like I was sitting on ice. After ordering I used the bathroom… there’s no lock on door!!! That is a huge no-no especially since there’s only one! Imagine how many awkward moments that have been shared at that doorway! If they put a lock on the door I will revise my rating and add a star. Now let’s finally get to the food and service. I thought it was weird that they didn’t have veal, so I was forced to order an eggplant parm sandwich. It was ok but the best part of sandwich was the bread. The guy that took my order was friendly but overall I was dissatisfied. Barely made three stars because the place seems pretty clean.

They opened early to have 10 pizzas ready for my daughter’s birthday we were havjbg nearby. The owner spoke to me himself, the delivery was on time, and everyone loved the pizza. Thin and crispy. I called him to thank him. Great business.

I feel bad giving them a less that good review on some items, because the staff is so nice and tried so hard to accomodate people and make them happy — far beyond what is necessary from a pizzaria, however I feel the need to be honest with my fellow Unilocalers. Okay so first the good… the pizza is pretty good actually, and so are the salads(I really mean that, too! I eat salad everyday, and don’t mean it like ‘at least the salad was good’), and the staff is great! And the bad… so the calzone isn’t a calzone, it just a ½ circle shaped plain focaccia bread sliced like a roll and then spread with some cheese and heated. I don’t allow myself to eat calzones really because they’re so unhealthy, but they are delicious, so you can imagine my disappointment when i opened it up!!! :-(:-(:-(Also, the prices on their website are really inaccurate. For instance, last time I ordered I chose three items, and it ended up being $ 10 more than it was listed as. They did give me a large salad rather than a small, but that only accounts for $ 1.50, so they should really work on updating that. All in all, go by and patronize them if you’re looking for pizza and salad because they’re really nice people and do that well. If you’re looking for something else, you’re probably better off going elsewhere.

I go to school in scotch plains and got out early one night so I went to get something to eat around the area. I stumbled upon this place. I went inside, figured I get a slice of pizza and a can of coke, and I saw the guy at the counter talking to someone. So I decided to go use to restroom and wash my hands. The guy at the counter saw me, older guy, late 40s heavy Italian accent, and said, «excuse me, where are you going»? I replied, «restroom» He said no, ask permission. I said«oh sorry, I was just going to use it and come back and order my food» He started shouting at me saying you don’t do that… SHOUTING… Not talking at this point. Which I found really unnecessary. He proceeded to kick me out. This surprised me, why this treatment? I left without first asking him, «is this how you treat your customers?» He then said i was ignorant, a fag*t and a p*ssy. He also spit in my direction. This was after he followed me outside. He then threatened to call the police, right before he told me he had a degree in biology…? I didn’t go there with any intention of finding out what his education was. Perhaps the nicest thing anyone from the place said to me was from the delivery guy, he said, «bro just go» I was hungry that night, yesterday night to be precise, and wanted a decent meal and time to relax, what I got instead were hurtful ignorant things shouted at me. Luckily there’s a Chinese restaurant two doors down, where the treatment made up for this awful experience, the lady even offered to deliver food to me in my school! Don’t go to this pizza, it won’t be a pretty experience.

I am really, really happy that I discovered this place. Pizza brothers is my favorite pizza place in SP… well, perhaps even in the county. The service is ALSO friendly and the pizza is consistently good. They never take a day off from quality. After a bunch of visits, the owner asked me why I alway order plain pizza I said its because I don’t eat pork. He then informed me that they serve no pork and he produced the meat packages to prove it. I went berserk! Their beef sausage and pepperoni are great. There is no shortage of cheese, either. I have had the Chicken parm and the Cluck U wings and both are great. You can wash them down with a Stewards’ Black Cherry or one of the other flavors. Really good food… always clean… nice welcoming service

We have tried all of the pizza places in Scotch Plains and this is our favorite. Sometimes it’s better than others, but it’s always good. The owner is extremely friendly and delivery is usually very fast. The Cluck-U wings are a nice add-on.
