Love this place! My family used to come here all the time when I was little. Even back then they had helicopter on the lawn and we liked to look at all the match books in the tables. I always got their cheese steak it’s fantastic, and waffle fries. Then of course ice cream. I don’t know if they still have it but I used to play the mrs. Pac-Man game too. I used to go crazy for all the ice cream toppings as a kid. I Loved this place.

Didn’t try the«eats», just the«sweets’! Forget 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins, this place has close to 100! We visited late at night, on the drive back home after a long weekend in the Poconos, it was probably half an hour or so before closing, we were the only customers at the time, and still the girl serving was polite and patient as ever as me and my wife sampled a few of their more unique creations!

Well priced, small little ice cream shop up in the Poconos. Service was good, had nice outdoor seating, and the vanilla soft serve was delicious No complaints here.

Love the ice cream, there’s a lot of flavors to choose from. The food is good, but once my brother asked for a burger medium well, but there was a lot of pink in it. He took it back and asked for a new one but was nice enough to actually pay for the second burger. The same thing happened like the first time, even though he specifically asked for no pink the second time, there was pink, unacceptable. That’s pretty much the only issue we’ve had with the Eats and Sweets. I particular like to stop for a cup of ice cream. I love that I couldn’t decide if I wanted the cappuccino flavor so the girl suggested a sample so I tried it and it was actually pretty good. I think it had way too much chocolate chunks in it, but it was delicious. That only issue we had dropped my five stars to four. I will be back.

Good food, good prices, and great ice cream… try the cannoli ice cream, delicious! Stromboli, wings, and cheesesteak were all good. Excellent option for area.

It’s small and cute. Looks a little like one of those stores on the boardwalk. It’s a good spot for junk food and ice cream. Good for kids. The person who took our order was polite and our order was perfect.

Staying at Great Wolf Lodge and needed to get away from it all. Decided to try this place based in Unilocal reviews. It was a perfect place to go with a large group with kids and right across the road from the Great Wolf Lodge entrance. It’s nothing fancy — you order your food and then sit down. They bring your food out in a reasonable time. Everyone could get what they wanted and it didn’t break the bank. We had a gyro, pizza, wings, beef empanadas, lots of fries and chicken nuggets in our large group. Everyone liked their food, but saved room for dessert. HUGE selection of hard and soft ice cream among other dessert options. My friend got the strawberry funnel cake sundae and said it was right up there with some of the best dessert dishes she’s ever had at Disney. Anyone who’s eaten in Disney world knows they do sweets right. The sundae was on top of a regular sized funnel cake so be prepared to share! We will go back when in the area.

The French fries here are phenomenal. Thin and perfectly crispy. They somehow have 37 flavors of soft serve including a mysterious«teaberry» one that I ended up choosing vanilla over. With a very generous sprinkle of MALTPOWDER. The soft serve has this marshmallow fluff like texture, like biting into a dense cloud, I was probably eating plastic or something but it sure was delicious. Old school diner feel — charming. A playground and wooden chopper on the lawn. Indoor/outdoor seating. Road trip win.

If you want soft serve, this is the place to go in the Poconos. :D Try not to park your car in the front since it can be a bit hairy pulling out into traffic. That is the *sole* drawback of this place. If you’re looking for anything bad to eat, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for health food, you are not going to be pleased. I can only imagine that the kids that work here have blisters on their fingers from cleaning stuff. It isn’t unusual for folks to get rip roaring drunk in the Poconos. Add that to ice cream and some of the other stands in the area get naff quick. This place is spotless every time I go. They are also super nice and happy to see you. I’m not sure how they manage to make the kids that end up here chill out, but I’ve never, ever run into the screaming brats that you get elsewhere. That cleanliness really helps the taste of the ice cream itself. I love their banana. I love their piña colada. I think I even had a good black raspberry at one point. If faux isn’t your thing, they do offer fruit sundaes. Holy crap are portions astoundingly large. I think they even take plastic, which is a plus. This place is nice and cheap. I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $ 10 no matter how much stuff I’ve ordered.

Loved this place!!! Cheap food — but mostly… their ice cream!!! It was delcious and you can pick from endless flavors. I love their matchstick tables and the old fashion feeling on Eats and Sweets. Of course, everyone has to go sit in the old wooden helicopter. This is a great summer location up in PA, my boyfriend loved it as well and hasn’t stopped talking about it since we left!

I loved this place! OMG! I would give 10 stars if I could. This old fashioned ice cream and food stand sells what I consider carnival food or feel good food— but whenever they are opened! It’s great! I had a gyro. It was very good. I also had some fries. The bf had some sort of Texas BBQ burger, I think. Then, I had a soft serve banana ice cream. The bf had a chocolate milk shake. We then both went over to go sit on the helicopter to act like the teenagers or kids we no longer are– but this place kind of brings it out in you.(Or at least us). :) I highly recommend. The staff was very nice, too. I will absolutely go back & regret passing this place by a million times before.

Came here for the first time yesterday and it was such a cute,(and of course YUMMY) place to eat! It’s the type of place that you should only go to once in awhile since it’s all comfort food and not exactly the healthiest food choices but it definitely left me feeling satisfied but not super stuffed. I would love to come here again and I would definitely recommend it to people.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! I used to walk down there when I lived up the hill everyday in the summer! I tell everyone to go there if they want great food, ice cream, and service! I enjoyed the smile and politeness from the one worker Bernadette too! I have yet to have a bad time there and I’ve been going for almost 10 years! Keep up the great work!

This is a great stop for ice cream or a quick dinner(pizza, burger etc). They have a lot of ice cream flavors and toppings. I really enjoy their chicken salad wraps and their calzone was out of this world! What is great is their drive through is always open and easy when you are on the go, however they only accept cash. But everything is reasonably priced :) One downside is their play area for the kids I feel is unsafe because it is across the parking lot. Not to mention there isn’t even much there.

We LOVE Eats and Sweets. We take our doggies here all the time before &/or after we’ve been hiking around Camel Top. They have THEBESTBURGERS. The meat is SOFRESH& it’s ALLBEEF, cooked to your liking. Their portions are BIG for the prices, so go there hungry! They have a fantastic selection of ice cream & desserts. They have gyros, pizzas, calzones, hot dogs, wraps, cheesesteaks, etc., & everything is delicious &VERY reasonably priced. I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone travelling through the Scotrun area near Camelback/Camelbeach, Mt. Airy, the candle shops, etc.

Loved this placed! Super cute little diner on the side the road. You can order at the window outside, or come inside and sit down. It’s a order at the counter, the sit and wait type place. Very old school diner feel. Good old fashioned food. The girls working were very friendly and helpful. Loved the décor, all the glass top tables were filled with vintage matchbooks from hotels and resorts from the 50s and 60s– greasy nod to the old Poconos feel of the area when all those resorts were hoppin! We had the empanadas, a burger, the bacon ranch fries, a chicken wrap and a milkshake. All were excellent and just what you’d expect from a roadside diner. No complaints!

Great old school diner. Food was very good. Service great. If they don’t have the ice cream flavor you want, i’d be surprised. Clean and friendlier than Friendly’s.

Super cute, old school diner ! The food is pretty good, chili cheese dogs, calzones, pizza, Philly cheesesteaks … Pretty much anything a diner has. The bread they use was AMAZING !!! Service was very friendly, we ordered our ice cream and since the coconut ice cream we ordered had to be made we decided to step out and go take pictures in the helicopter and the awesome waiter actually brought the ice cream to us all the way to the helicopter ! It looks like they specialize in ice cream, sundaes, ice cream cakes, I have never seen so many flavors in my life, it took me ten minutes to decide what I wanted, my husband got the brownie sundae and omg it was so good, me and my friend ordered coconut ice cream which was also amazing and very refreshing in the summer heat, my friends boyfriend ordered a cone w vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate, I have never seen such a huge ice cream cone in my life, he was in heaven and covered in chocolate like a 3 year old by the time he was done . We ordered a ton of food and us being used to city prices thought it would be between $ 50 – 60 and that’s what we took out to be ready to pay, we were completely shocked when we found out it was ONLY $ 28 !!! Wowzers! I’m am definitely looking forward to coming here next time I’m in the area

I am nostalgic about this place. We used to stop here all the time with my grandparents when they were still alive. The food was generally okay. It’s a lot of frozen french fries, hot dogs, and the such. The ice cream is pretty good though. I think it was a choice between Hershey’s(not to be mistaken for the chocolate brand) and Turkey Hill ice cream. Other than nostalgia I wouldn’t have gone back. It’s an interesting blast to the past. Sort of like a drive in spot. Not many of these sorts of places left. Well I guess it’s better to eat local than waste your money at a chain fast food place. Cash-only as I discovered.
