I will admit this place has gotten better over the years with all the renovations and whatnot, but it’s not a place I actively go to. If I am at the club, I am working. The new Zeppelins restaurant is more of the same. I don’t taste any difference in the food. It’s mediocre at best.
For major events, the staff definitely put forth a valiant effort to make the place look good. I’ve seen some cool set ups for things like Chief Induction and AMC Icon.
From what I’ve been told, the service is decent. As I said earlier, I don’t come here for leisure, but I’ve witnessed the employees being attentive to the needs of the event attendees. Everything is just — standard. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Thank goodness for a decent inexpensive place to eat on base– finally! They have a varied menu with splurge items like mile high pastrami sandwiches to healthy fare like vegetarian soups and vegan Cobb salad. Most entrées are under $ 10. You order at the front take a number and seat yourself.
