I was in neck pain for years. The doctor i was seeing told me it was just a sprain and i didnt need a specialist. I finally went on my own to Dr Genest. I waited about five minutes before i got in to see him. He reviewed my xrays and immediately ordered an MRI for me. When the MRI came back Dr Genest called and had me come in right away. He showed me on the films that i had three herniated discs and a compressed spinal cord. He got me into a neck brace and referred for surgery ASAP. He explained to me that with a compressed spinal cord you can get paralyzed if i was in a car accident or fell. I had all this confirmed by the surgeon who did my surgery. I have a lot of respect for Dr Genest! He helped me when no one else did. I would gladly refer my friends and family to him.

This doctor left me in his office for over an hour, when i finally got in to see him he had not even reviewed my extensive MRI for my neck injury. Literally, he took the film, held it up to his office ceiling light and said these words, «welcome to my world you have arthritis». Really! Now 6 years later after paying him that day, proving it 4 times by faxing the canceled check to his 19 year office assistant I get a bill saying I owe him $ 200. Not only did I prove 6 years ago I paid him, he was lame then. I can’t even imagine how many others have paid for nothing. Dr. Steven Genest you a. Quack!
