Finding a preschool that is perfect is impossible… nothing is perfect especially preschools. And I am really surprised with the one star reviewer. This school is far better than just putting your kid in front of a tv. On a literacy note, my child is learning numbers, spelling, writing and she is learning an even more valuable lesson — learning to speak her mind, opinions and feelings. Most Kindergarten teachers will tell you it ‘s the ladder that is the most important not the numbers, letters, etc. And she is getting both. Melody and her teachers(Danica, Paige, Becky) have done everything to make my daughter’s transition easier(as well as mine). They have been responsive(Melody has even addressed my concerns at 9:00 pm at night) and is supportive. The only major concern I have is that it can be hectic. It’s a small space and they do drop off and pick up for the older kids.

My son attended preschool at Building Kidz(previously A Child’s Connection) and now the after school program. The staff is amazing and truly cares about every child there! The director, Melody, takes time out for every parent and child and does a wonderful job! There is plenty of outdoor space for the children to play. The tuition is reasonable, and offers flexible before and aftercare programs. I highly recommend Building Kidz!

We have been sending our 4 year old to what is now called Building Kidz. It was initially called A Child’s Connection when we started in Aug 2013. We started there because we loved the main teachers Melody and Roxanne, the back yard was great, good price and the location is convenient. The school has seen a transition and has grown in a positive way. I love the idea of kids growing more confident through performing arts. The whole staff is really great, educated, loving. They are looking to prepare our little ones for kindergarten. The building has also been updated quite a bit as well as the backyard. They do dance class and I love my son coming home telling me the different ballet moves he has learned– so cute! And starting in April 2014 they will be providing lunches which I am really excited about!
