I had a wonderful experience with Loganberry Bakery! They prepared a naked cake and 100 cupcakes for a birthday party. They made all the items gluten free and they were delicious. The owners were delightful and very accommodating! We received a lot of compliments at the party regarding the dessert.

I stopped by this bakery for the first time today. The bakery seemed a little dirty, and dingy. I bought a chocolate chip cooki. It was stale, and dried out. The owner mentioned that she could microwave it because it was cold. She said they bake the cookies once a week. If I’m going to buy a cookie at a bakery, I would like it to be fresh that day. Underwhelmed for sure!

Disgusting! This place was filthy, spider webs and dust everywhere, only a few items to choose from in the counter. I asked for a breakfast burrito, which they had and she heated for me. We made small talk about special orders and such as I am a personal chef/caterer, and sometimes order things like slider buns, brioche, etc. She handed me the burrito, which was still ice cold. I gave it back to her and as I looked around, I could see layers of filth all over the place. Flour and food crust on the counter, coffee stains all around the coffee pot, and the worst selection of coffee items that you can imagine, such as coffee mate instant creamer, for one, and the fact that it was a home style Kurig machine. I’m not going to pay for a cup of coffee that is so crappy, I won’t even drink it at home. I felt like I was in a gas station from the 70’s…just gross. I asked for hot sauce, and she said she had some in the glove box in her car(!!!). She went out, and handed me a packet of Carl’s Jr hot sauce… fast food hot sauce coming from a bakery?!? I declined the hot sauce, and when she handed me the burrito, I took a bite, and it was still cold. I threw it in the trash and walked out. I am not much of a Unilocaler… in fact, this is the first review that I have ever written. But this place was so gross, I felt compelled. Sorry Loganberry, as I live in SV, and love to support small businesses I wanted to like you… but the level of filth in this little hole of a bakery made it impossible to like you,…and the fast food hot sauce packet pushed me over the top.

Very friendly owner. Small but thorough selection of regular and GF cookies, scones, and brownies. My son and I enjoyed our cookies. The owner said she offer classes sometimes and would post it. She is also listing pies and cakes to order for the holidays. Nice experience. We will return.

I bought one bacon and cheese croissant and one chocolate croissant. Both were delicious. However, I found hair in BOTH of them, one baked into the inside and one stuck to the outside. When you have a bakery you have to be meticulous about things like that. So, I don’t know if I’d go there again, even if the croissants were great. Also, I was hoping to get some coffee to go with my pastries but all they had was a keurig machine. I didn’t want to pay for coffee that I could have made for free at home.

I read about this bakery in the Scotts Valley Times and saw that they offered gluten free options and was excited to give it a try. I was hoping to try gluten free bread but they were sold out, so my mom and I tried a couple of treats a gluten free cookie and brownie. They were both good, but I wouldn’t say it was the best I ever had. I will be back though and hopefully get my hands on some of there gluten free sourdough bread.

I placed a same-day order for a two layer cake recently. When I came to pick up the cake, the young woman was«fixing» it after some sort of frosting debacle. No big deal as I was sure she was making the cake look nice. Alas, thus was not the case. When I opened the box at home, one layer was hanging off the other. The frosting layer was uneven all the way around. The decorative frosting around the bottom had not been repaired at all. I would have been able to overlook all of this if the cake had tasted as good as I had hoped based on previous reviews. Sadly, the non-gluten-free cake was extremely dense and was not even a little bit sweet. It didn’t taste like lemon either. Maybe the sugar/baking powder or whatever was forgotten? The chocolate ganache frosting was good but way too thick. The lemon curd was the only truly tasty part of this cake. I was really hoping this would become my go-to bakery but I don’t think so.

All I can say is yum. Yum. Yum. And yum. These gals baked some cookies and cupcakes, some were gluten free. Everything was delicious and tasty and FRESH! Had they not told me it was gluten free, I’d have never suspected! Nice people, wonderful product, fair prices.

Love this pace, gluten free bread this good is hard to find and they excel at it! Even my boyfriend likes their gluten free breads… which says a lot.

Just stopped by the Scotts Valley location to see what’s what. I had a cherry danish and my wife had the bear claw. Both were excellent. I’ll soon be back to sample their other offerings.
