Scotts Valley Artisans

Really great organization. Their mission is to promote local artists. Great resource for artists to show/​sell their stuff. Interesting arts and crafts, really fun store. They are opening a store in Capitola Mall on 5/​1/​14near the inside entrance to Target. Check it out!

Fabulous place to find really unique items as gifts or for yourself!
Merchandise:
They have so much stuff here! From jewelry, knits, scarves, blankets, quilts, sweaters, diaries, professional photos, wooden hand-​crafted chairs, stools, bars, origami earrings (fantastic!), and children’s items as well. Some of the items can get a bit pricey, but keep in mind, everything is made by local people!
Service:
I haven’t been there for a while but when I do go there, service is always super nice. Very happy ladies running the place and a very adorable dog jogging around the store.
Raffle!
Once I went there and they were having a raffle. A photographer for the local SV paper stopped by and ask my friend and I to pose for the paper. We received 5 free raffle tickets each and with those I put 3 into a black and white photo of a sailboat and won it :) So beautiful and worth up to $ 85.00.
Overall:
Friendly service, and great selection of unqiue, one-​of-​a-​kind merchandise. Can’t go wrong!

Scotts Valley Artisans is my go-​to place for finding unique gifts. Since they’ve moved to their current (larger) location by CineLux Theatres, I’ve been there frequently, and it seems there is always something new. That is a wonderful thing! I work close by, and will go in there sometimes just for an aromatherapy moment when I have time. It’s a great pickup for me to go in and get a whiff of lavender and all the other custom soaps and candles. Enticing! And it’s always nice to see Lexi, the dog, welcoming me!

I went here while I was in the area for a wedding last weekend — it’s a wonderful store full of the work of a bunch of members of the community (even some impressive work by teenagers). There’s everything from pottery to turned wood, jams, glass, jewelry and soaps, etc. I went home with a handmade jar opener that I’ll install in my mom’s kitchen for her. They also host a Saturday morning market in the parking lot of the shopping center where you can meet all of the artisans and talk to them about their work.
Fun stop!

Scott’s Valley Artisans is an amazing one stop shop for quality and quantity of handmade creations from multitudes of gifted artists of so very many specialties. I’ve made many purchases and have been thrilled with each. The staff is passionate, informative, and supportive of all the artists displayed. Scott’s Valley Artisans is a great contribution to Scott’s Valley and a memorable place for visitors to find a creation they can’t live without!

This is a great place to go for a gift or something for you or your home. They have over 100 local artists work displayed. Items such as wall art like paintings and photography, tons of gorgious jewelry, pottery, adorable birdhouses, fingerless cashmere gloves, woodwork and so much more. Stop by this place even if you are not looking for anything and check out the amazing work by locals. They also do Craft fairs and classes. The owners are both incredible women with a passion for what they do.

I love this store! Went in just as they were closing and the 2 wnderful ladies there stopped what they were doing and gave us a tour of their lovely shop.
All the items in store are by local artists and they have some incredible stuff there.
I ended up purchasing some locally hand made chocolate, they had already turned off the computer but the lady was really nice and happy to turn the computer on let me pay for my purchase with my card.
I will definitely come back there, some of the shabby chic items, paintings, jewerly and scrapbooking items really interested me.
