I won’t go anywhere else for framing. Cynthia is creative and professional and every piece of art I bring in is enhanced by her choice of mats and frames.

DO NOT go to this store! Worst experience I have had in any store. I interacted with a man who said incredibly inappropriate things to me while trying to pick up my frames. The frames were done wrong and I sent my husband in because I did not want to deal with the man again. When my husband pointed out the error, the salesman exploded with expletives and said my husband was calling him a liar. The owner just sat there and did NOTHING! Later that day the owner lady actually called and told us she didn’t want our business. It was the most bizarre experience either of us have ever had. DO NOT give them your business. There is something very off with the owner and her hired man…

I have been taking prints, photographs, paintings and other art to Cynthia for framing for several years. She has a great eye for detail and offers excellent suggestions with regard to mat and frame colors and styles. Every piece I’ve had her frame has been greatly enhanced by her work. This November, I took a very special piece of work to her for framing — my daughter’s wedding ketubah. As usual, she helped me select a frame and made recommendations regarding the use of glass. My husband retrieved the framed work from her and wrapped it as a gift for my daughter and her husband. When they opened it, we noticed that some of the white canvas was exposed. I was surprised, as Cynthia’s work is usually flawless. Nonetheless, the framing was off a bit. I returned to The Art Store and showed her the situation. She smiled, noted what might have happened, and asked if I could leave it for a short while. I returned 20 minutes later to a perfectly framed canvas. Cynthia clearly stands by her work, and will make things right for you if there is any question about the end product. I would never trust a piece of art to anyone other than Cynthia and The Art Store.

Strong technical and artistic advice with valued pricing. Cynthia has a great eye for details and has always provided me with quality framing expertise on my family photos from the early 1900’s. She handled everything with care and precision. I highly recommend her shop.
