I can’t tell if it’s all the shopping at unclaimed baggage that makes me feel so hungry. this place hits the spot after every visit. I love the rib plate with potato salad and vinegar slaw. the monster potato looked huge when my friend got it. The banana pudding was yummy too and I don’t particularly like bananas. The second time I went they only had German chocolate cake. Worth a shot. :)

This roadside stand (no indoor seating, a picnic table outside) is just down the road from the Unclaimed Baggage store. We are from Georgia and eat a lot of barbecue, and Marv’s was fantastic. Marc himself recommended the ribs, which my husband ordered, and I got the pulled pork plate. The meat was super tender, well-​flavored, and there was plenty of it. The beans are amazing! They have a very sweet and interesting flavor. If you are in the area, definitely go visit Big Marv.

I am a barbecue lover and once I heard about this new little place opening I knew I had to give it a try. I’ve tried their BBQ sandwiches, brisket and chicken plates and they are all to die for! They also catered a huge smoked ham to my company’s Thanksgiving dinner and it was the talk of the day. They obviously take their time when smoking their meats as it has a deep hickory smoked flavor and is so moist and juicy. The restaurant is a very small little place, similar to Whitt’s BBQ, it has a walk-​up window, outdoor seating and you can call orders in, they also cater. Definitely worth checking out!
