Rising star Molly and her trainer Allie were the best servers we have ever had at any Cracker Barrel. We have been to Cracker Barrel all across the country and this service was the best of them. Thank You for a great dinner and the best service. You guys rock!

The negatives of this visit urge me to give two stars. On the whole though, I have to be fair and give three stars. Stopped here mid-morning, so not busy at all. Friendly greeting and immediate seating for our group of six. Clean and acceptable bathrooms. The usual well displayed country junk for sale in the store. Dakotah was a very friendly and fast server. She deserves four stars: all around good service. However the food quality at this Cracker Barrel and many others has become inconsistent. Best items were whole grain pancakes, pecan pancakes, ham, bacon and scrambled eggs(four stars). Everything else was disappointing: doughy biscuits, tasteless gravy, pasty grits, and cold bland hash brown casserole(all one or two stars). Still better than McDonalds but shouldn’t CB be better? I think there are four or five star CBs out there but this isn’t one of them. When you see the Scottsburg exit, keep driving. It’s not an easy on/off driving or consistent dining experience.

We stopped here on the way between Illinois and Virginia. Typical Cracker Barrel in terms of food, selection, etc. Nice, clean restroom. Food was hot and tasty. Waitress was the friendliest of any Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. Good experience overall.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was generally pretty pleased. Coffee was good and the french toast(I added blackberry sauce) was also quite good.

On our road trip from Florida to Chicago Cracker Barrel is our salvation and our chosen food destination. This is the third Cracker Barrel we stopped at before entering Illinois and even though it was just a brief encounter considering we were just taking sandwiches to go, it lacked the southern hospitality of the other restaurants we visited. Bethany checked us out and she was less than enthusiastic. When we asked her for splenda for ice tea she seemed a little bit annoyed. We thanked her and she just responded with a «mm hmm». Our to go order was very good but there were no napkins or ketchup for the fries in the to go bag. Eating there could be a very different experience and their food is delicious I just felt attention to the customer could have been better.
