I discovered this company by watching the family who owns and runs it be interviewed on a conservative talk show. I was impressed that all 8 of the kids are involved in running the business. So I decided to go to their website to look at what products they had available to see if I’d be interested in trying them. It turns out they carry a wide variety of soap and cleaning products made without any harsh chemicals. All their bar soaps contain an ounce of goat milk from goats the family raises on their farm. The bath soaps come in a variety of sizes, including full bars, travel bars and half bars. The soaps are also sold in logs, half logs and liquid form. In addition to soap, GMS also carries such products as deodorant, hand sanitizers and lip balm. I decided to order 2 bars of the Purity soap since the website states it’s gentle to sensitive skin. I wanted to see if it would help to clear up a minor skin condition I have without having to use any kind of chemicals. I placed my order using the online form and submitted it. I received a confirmation e-mail the following morning letting me know the order was processed and was on its way to me. I placed the order late on a Sunday night and received the 2 bars of soap on Wednesday. Considering it was coming from Indiana, that was fast! Upon opening the order, I was surprised and pleased to see that the invoice enclosed was personally signed by Brett, the oldest of the kids, with a note telling me to enjoy the soaps. :-) As far as using the soap goes, I feel using it is making a difference in my skin condition for the better. I was so impressed with the products and service that I already placed another order, which I have since received. A big THANKYOU to the Jonas family for coming up with such a great product and teaching their kids the value of hard work and a job well done!

I started looking into goat milk soap in general when I started having skin problems. I found this company and bought their Problem Skin Pack. After looking into it a bit more, I realized how they don’t use chemicals and other soaps do. That’s the point at which I started buying all my shower body soap from here. I am thinking of getting shampoo next and may then move on to getting laundry soap as well. I am still just experimenting with what I like and don’t like so I am not buying anything in bulk just yet. Also if you go to use the Shampoo bars you really need to check out their blog post on it as it will take a few weeks for your hair to adjust: I bought myself the shampoo holder and love it. It says it’s not really meant to be used in the shower but I keep mine off to the side and drain it often and it’s worked fine for me. They also have monthly giveaways which is pretty neat. PJ(the mom) just did a survey about selling goatsmilk fudge and what flavors people would enjoy, so that might be in the future! I list here what I enjoyed and didn’t enjoy, but none of them are bad. I just have my own preferences.(BTW I will update this list through edit rather than update in order to have one comprehensive list.) Loved: ~ Luv Spell(all-time fav) ~ Organic Castile ~ Tea Tree ~ Pink Sugar Didn’t love: ~ Pomegranate Lemonade(it was just ok, I may need to try again to be sure how I feel about it) ~ Purity(didn’t like the smell) ~ Calendula(it seemed to melt more than the others, but I may need to give it another shot). ~ Almond(don’t like the smell) ~ Lime

I’ve been ordering Goat Milk’s soap for the last … five years, I think. I have skin that dries out very easily, and I’m super sensitive to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is the sudsing agent in most manufactured soaps. Since I’ve been using GMS, my skin has improved drastically. I don’t break out. My skin doesn’t itch anymore. I smell better. When we recently moved, we used up the last bar of GMS soap and I had to buy a bar of soap elsewhere. My skin is a mess. I’ve broken out, my skin is dry, my nails are brittle, my cuticles look terrible. Some of this is from moving, sure, but a lot of it is because of the soap. We also use the purity soap on our toddler, who has ecxzema. His skin looks great now, so much better than before that we don’t use heavy lotions any more. I can’t say enough great stuff about GMS!

Wonderful products and great customer service! After reading about GMS in a magazine and being in a similar boat as Maria H., I figured I’d give their products a try. I placed an order for a few things on a Friday, and had my package on the following Monday. I was so impressed in using the products(soap, lip balm and lotion stick) that I very quickly made my way back to their website to order some soap for friends!

This soap is the only soap that does not cause a reaction to my skin. It also smells great!!! Most soaps that are gentle don’t smell good. I am a Goat Milk Soap fan!!!

As a very health conscious(aka health freak) person, I was looking for good organic skin care and bathing products. I’ve tried many organic and natural products from organic stores and online, but I was still not 100% satisfied. I didn’t want something with an endless list of ingredients that I couldn’t even pronounce, I wanted something simple. Until last year that I came across this business through google. They make soaps, shampoo bars, lotions, lip balms, and detergents using goat milk instead of water or all other chemicals. I drink goat milk and I like it way better than cow’s milk. I also had tried a couple of other goat milk soaps and I found them a little drying, so I wasn’t sure if this one was any better. I went through all their website and watched almost all their videos and … I thought to give it a try. It is a 2-year old small home-run family business in south Indiana, the goats are grass-fed and hand-milked and they use organic ingredients, so it couldn’t be harmful. I placed an order and got a very quick and friendly reply from PJ –she is the founder and the mom, confirming my order. I got a tracking number and received my package in 3 business days! They also let you pick 3 samples of their products and send it for you for free. I tried the soaps and boy I loved them! The soaps have rich and creamy lather with a heavenly fragrance and are also great for sensitive skins. Much better than other goat milk or natural soaps I had used before. I had ordered the small bars because I wasn’t sure I would like them, but after using them for a while, I ordered their other soaps, luffa soap, bath bombs, and some other stuff they have. They make special soaps for hunters, bug off, pet bar, foot scrub, etc. They also have a very cool soap saver for your small scraps of soap, washcloths that are knitted by PJ’s 8 lovely children, lip balms which I loved, lotions, and gift sets. They have shaving stuff for men, too. I have not tried their laundry soap yet, but it will be my next order. I have placed three orders so far and I received them so quick without any problems. The children package your soaps and leave their initials on your order sheet, so cute! The only way to purchase their stuff –to my best knowledge, is online. I can’t tell enough about how much I love their products. You should see and try it for yourself. Check their website for more info, and they also have a Facebook page where you can read lots of reviews.
