A Pea in the Pod is a Maternity store (national chain) that sells upscale merchandise for pregnant women.
My wife went to this store and was looking for some maternity jeans. They had a good variety to choose from but most were in the $ 200 range (very pricey designer stuff) and most required alternations, which P-i-t-P doesn’t do.
They encouraged my wife to take a pair home and show me. They had her initial the return policy and she brought them home.
She decided to take them back as she found some at Babystyle that she liked better. When she tried to return them, the same woman who helped her a few days earlier pointed out that the return policy is for store credit only (and only within 10 days of purchase). She was within 10 days, but didn’t read what she initialed and was stuck getting store credit.
Overall, it’s a nice store, but be sure to read the fine print and expect to pay top dollar for things that you cannot return for cash/credit. FYI.
