I participated in the City Team challenge a few weeks ago and had an okay experience. We arrived an hour before the event started and checked in and hung out before it all started. There were probably 100+ or so participants and I was with my team of 4. We had our packet and the challenges themselves weren’t too difficult. It’s mainly a photo scavenger hunt, with 2 «physical» challenges and some word puzzles. Where my disappointed came with is towards the end where teams were required to wait for a trolley to get to the final challenge. Long story short, it was apparent that some teams didn’t do the«required task», and they won the top prizes while those who followed the rules did not. The last challenge was chaotic, as teams crowded around a table to get the last challenge started and verify their photos. A few teams voiced their concerns about what happened and we were just brushed off and it was chalked up to the first time for the event. It just left a bad taste in my mouth and if people are paying money to participate in an event, they want a fair chance at a pretty awesome prize. I emailed Christina with my feedback and she was receptive, but I never received the registration code that she offered for the next event. As a start up, I wish them the best and I hope that they are improving from the first few events, but I can’t recommend them.
