Most of these stores are really nasty. Beware of dates on products, they are often expired or very close to expiring. Sometimes they have some unique things but they are starting to have trouble getting products so they are backfilling with low quality merchandise. you may be able to get the same deal on sale at the supermarket.

I love big lots. I go there a lot for my household cleaning supplies and chocolate stash. However I really hate this location. EVERY TIME I go there I end up standing in a line that stretches to eternity at the one and only register that is open. Sometimes I have to put my items down and walk out because the clock has run out on my lunch break and I am still 6 customers back in the line. That’s about the time I start to walk past all the employees sitting around visiting like they don’t have anything better to do. How about jumping on a register and helping out with the long line of customers waiting to pay? Never going back here again.

This is a great store. They are always stocked with my favorite popcorn! Easy to find and friendly staff. Lots of great deals on everything you need.

As many Unilocalers have already said, this is a good store. Things are easy to find and the prices are great. The problem that I have encountered is that when they run out of an item and the truck is due to arrive on a Wednesday, it is rare that everything is on the shelves by even Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I usually have to wait a week until it is available to the customers again. Other than that, the prices are great especially the discounted food items. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Really good store.

As far as Big Lot locations go, this one is probably the best. Well organized, not ravaged like other discount stores, clean, friendly service and lots of post-holiday sale items.
Come for the cheaper name brand out of season items or discontinued items. Very happy about the cool The Simpsons kids cat toys I found here.

I shop at this store all the time. I never know what treasures I am going to find. I love it! I decided to write a review since I went in the store in a bad mood the other day (was having a BAD day) and came out in a great mood all thanks to the cashiers. I don’t want to write a really long review, but let’s just say that they had me laughing so much I had a huge smile on my face when I left. The cashiers are always really nice when I go in there.

I absolutely love big lots. They have most of anything you are looking for. All of it for way cheaper than what you would find elsewhere. You want christmas decorations, body wash, cereal, a couch, picture frames, dvd’s? They have it. It’s never crowded. The only possible downside could be that they often only have one checkout open, so there might be several people in front of you. Other than that, this place ROCKS!!!

This is the largest Big Lots I’ve ever visited, and I’ve been to several in at least two states. This particular store has lots of furniture, much of it name-brand, at ver low prices. Yes, it’s great for linens and household items as Travis suggested, but you will be amazed at what else you can find here. Today I bought an HDMI cable for $ 12 – so glad that I dind’t shell out the $ 65 at Office Max!
