Burstein Alvin C, MD

Dr. Burstein is a great medical provider. He listens closely and has been on point when prescribing any necessary medications.
Also, his receptionist (Roseanne I think?) is awesome.

I certainly have a different viewpoint. Dr. Burstein became my doctor in 2002 and he has been with me all the way in dealing with my issues. I find him to be a great doctor always attending to my patient needs and more than once his acute attention lab reports has him referring me to my primary physician for additional needs. His pleasant demeanor has me looking forward to office visits instead of dreading them. The reception area is small, but not noisy and chaotic. Staff are pleasant and very accommodating. Doctor’s office is very nice and comfortable so the patient can be more at ease. As for a as a review comment that he did not know much about drugs or their effects — the writer obviously does not know of Dr. Burstein’s background — including being the department head for St. Luke’s Hospital, Mental Health, and for establishing psych med are well known universities. I would say he knows a thing or two about it. I give Dr. B 10 Stars!
