I worked with Dave for 6 months and would highly recommend him as a trainer! For years I lacked results and felt like other trainers didn’t listen to me when I stated an exercise didn’t work for me(clearly I must be doing something wrong). After Dave completed a simple assessment during our first consult, he identified that I was hyper-mobile. He tailored each workout to my body type, allowing me to see real results and help me reach my goals. Additionally, he is very aware of your movement and ensures that every exercise you are doing is being executed in a safe manner, to avoid injury. Finally, he is just a lot of fun to work with! He consistently had new exercises for me to try, which helped eliminate boredom and complacency in the workout.

I’ve worked with Dave for three years now. What worked well for me was David’s ability to redefine my goals on an ongoing(we changed fitness goals every three months to keep fresh) and adapt my workouts towards those goals so quickly. David fine-tuned his boxing coaching skills so that we could incorporate boxing drills into my cardio routine. When I decided to run my first marathon at the Paris Marathon(finished in 3 hours and 30 min) he read up on what exercises would help prevent injury and develop slow twitch muscles. It might sound trite, but there’s nothing I could have asked to be different in my experience. Our rapport was both professional and friendly. Because of the high level of comfort David was able to understand my lifestyle holistically and incorporate that into our programs. So I received wellness, nutrition, and exercise consultations throughout my training. Quite holistic!

I trained with Dave for over a year and he is fantastic!!! He helped me train for my first half marathon, prevented me from getting any injuries and was a joy to work with. In addition to being very knowledgable about toning vs. building muscle, injury prevention, and helping to build core strength to support a weak back, David knows a lot about nutrition and eating for your body type and what you want to achieve.
