I came here before going to get my first treatment & all I can say as response to the bizarre«negative» comments — if you’d have called my business using that tone(disrespectful, using profanity to describe what I do), I’d have hung up. Although a potty is req’d, «potty mouth» is optional for business owners — who can pick/choose his/her clients. Just wanted to address that, since it had absolutely no relevance whatsoever to the service being rated. My experience overall — nobody likes getting colonic(well, maybe that’s not entirely true, but irrelevant), but everyone knows the benefits — more energy, lighter, more nutrients from food, fewer stomach issues, better digestion, skin, overall health … I could keep going. So we deal with it. But I have NEVER looked forward to one, especially with someone new. I was a bit timid to say the least, since it’s been about 4 – 5 yrs since my last treatment, but was VERY pleasantly surprised how quickly I shifted to «relaxed mode» after meeting Angelica. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but has such a warm and pleasant demeanor, I immediately felt at ease & have never learned so much NEW info during a session before(I’ve seen 3 therapists over a period of 10 years & learned more from Angelica during a single session than during those 3 combined!). You can tell she is someone passionate about what she does, helping people feel better, understand their bodies & how they can improve their overall health. Not only did she educate me on the basics(procedure itself & benefits) but also explained how things diet, water, supplements, etc. can be modified to enhance cleansing results. For example — I knew about probiotics & enzymes, but who’d have known about coconut oil & oregano? She also gave me some tips, found out the probiotic I was using was NOT the best for the job, and why. Even told me where to buy for max discount & how to dose. She spent a lot of time discussing supplements & diet with me, even though this is not a revenue source for her, which I thought was very generous & showed her commitment to her profession & clients. In addition, she offered some(free) advice for my 13-yr old daughter(sugar cravings, attention issues, lethargic etc) & totally nailed it on the head when she suspected fungal issue — even provided me with supplement recommendation in writing for BOTHOFUS Very rarely do you see this kind of «old school» professional courtesy & respect. On another note … I’m a sensory sensitive” kinda girl — really despise cold, sterile, hospital like environments I’ve experienced in the past. After my nose caught the wonderful You can tell she takes great care in providing an aesthetically attractive, comfortable environment, clean but NOT cold in sterile. I felt great after the treatment & booked my next appt before leaving the building. All-around the best treatment of this type I’ve ever had. The only downside — kinda makes you wish you were there for a massage instead! Highly recommended, you’re definitely in good hands with Angelica. Kimberly

I purchased a Groupon for colon hydrotherapy(Colonic). I have never had this type of service performed on me but had always wanted to try it. The location is very private.(For some reason, I felt embarrassed that someone might see me going in for my appointment! ha!) When I arrived, Angelica came out and promptly greeted me and let me know that it would be just a few more minutes.(Appreciated!) The spa room is comfortable, quiet and discreet. Totally clean and professional as well. Everything was completely sanitary. Angelica is very interested in helping people obtain the highest level of health possible with the services she provides. It can be an uncomfortable thing to lie on a table while the staff ‘cleanses’ your colon, but Angelica massaged my stomach and spoke gently throughout the entire procedure making it VERY relaxing and comfortable. She was extremely professional throughout the entire procedure. After leaving, I felt wonderful and would DEFINITELY go back to see her again and again. I almost felt like she cleansed my mind with her peaceful nature and gentle touch. I dont think I would ever use anyone else for this procedure! Angelica is the Best!

I’m new to Hydrotherapy and as a newbie I think I had a very good experience. Here’s what I liked… — Professional Building/Environment — Soothing Atmosphere — Professional Service — Very Clean & Safe — Accepted Credit Cards — Information to Take Home

I can’t really review this place because I’ve never been there. However, there are some very good reasons why I haven’t been there. I’ll just list them all right now. When I called the first time I had some questions. I mean you don’t just walk into a colon hydrotherapy place and have your undigested colon plaque blown out your butt without asking some questions first. The girl who answered the phone had a tone in her voice like the questions I was asking were so painfully stupid that it was all she could do to remain civil. I suppose I must’ve irritated her by starting out the converstion with«I have some questions, do you have a few minutes to answer them?» Yes, I know… Dreadfully rude of me. As I was having my questions scrutinized by said Detox For Life employee, my next client(I’m an esthetician) walked in. I said to the girl on the phone«I’m gonna have to call you back.» To that she replied«click…» Yeah, so that was great.(end scene). But no… I went back for more. After I was done with my client I called back. She must’ve had caller ID ‘cuz she let it go to voicemail. I’m way more stubborn that that. I called back. She answers in the sweetest voice, I mean staight out of a Disney Princess voice over. I ask if she is the gal I just talked to a few minutes before(knowing full well it was the same voice), she said wasn’t sure(probably because of the millions of people phoning in to grab the precious few remaining appointments to also have their colons hydrotherapized since the last time I had called twenty minutes prior). Maybe as a self preservation she blocked out our conversation because of all of my idiotic questions, or maybe she’s a liar. Who knows. And sadly, after all of this I still tried to make an appointment with them. The deal breaker was that they take your credit card information to «secure» your appointment. When I questioned the policy she condecendingly gave me this big long speil about 24hour cancellation poilcy blah blah blah… Yeah, I know all about it. I’ve been booking clients for over 22 years now. AND I GUARENTEE I WILLNEVERTAKE A CREDITCARDNUMBERPRIORTOTHEAPPOINTMENT! Just my philosophy. Anywho, so I let her know that with the risk of identity theft(and a distinct feeling that she might LOVE to have my credit card number) I wasn’t willing to make an appointment and would be taking my business elsewhere. She(as you may have guessed) didn’t care. But it is truly her loss because she and her coworkers do not get to behold the beauty and majesty that is my butt hole. Too bad so sad bye bye.
