I love the fact that my money goes to women and children issues in the non profit center. Also, all of the employees in the wellness center are employees and seem to love their job… and no tipping, they are on payroll with benefits! The turnover seems to be very little, I’ve been going there for over 7 years… I LOVE the nails and pedicures, the tanning and the massages. The few times I’ve been in the hospital, they’ve come to my room for services… if you have to be IN the hospital… getting a massage or your nails done in your hospital room is quite a treat… and knowing the therapist or nail technician, well that’s even better!

Such a peaceful spa, all the staff there are wonderful! I first got a pedicure which was wonderful and she did such an amazing job. I don’t remember her name it was really unique & started with an F. Then I got a essential touch facial with Paulette, she was very knowledgeable! Suggested the perfect skin treatments for me Pevonia and my face condition is improving greatly. A must to check out and they do not accept tip. So in the end the price is more affordable than elsewhere, but everything about it is high quality!

This spa is located in a very nice hospital. I have had various manicures and pedicures here as well as a facial and a prenatal massage. All were lovely experiences, I would certainly return. The staff is warm and friendly, and the place is very clean. If you are in the hospital say having a baby or recovering from surgery of some kind you can even get an in room service. The nice thing about this spa is their prices are very reasonable, and they are not allowed to receive tips. I was told on one of my visits that this is beacuse the profits of the spa go to the Women’s center in the hospital. The hospital also has complimentary valet parking during the week(tips are welcome there though). The parking lot gets pretty crowded.

A beautiful spa inside Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility, the people, the prices and the quality of services. First of all, it’s a full-service spa. Robes, slippers, showers, quiet sitting room, sauna — everything you need. Secondly, the service and quality is excellent! Thirdly, FREE valet parking and easy access in and out of the spa. Lastly, the products they use are high quality… Pevonia is fabulous!

Creepy Therapist, Poor Technique &NOISY(Next to a DAY-CARE!) I went there for a lymphatic message, which was a waste of money & time. First of all, the lymphatic message«specialist» was creepy. He did not make eye contact with me at any time — not even upon first greeting him. He gave off the creepy vibes big time. The entire time I was getting the«message» I kept thinking, «this guy is definitely a serial killer who lives with his mother.» Now, on to the message: It was not a lymphatic message at all. I am very familiar with this type of message — so trust me when I say it was done wrong. The technique, order and amount of pressure applied were all wrong — which can be dangerous to people with seriously compromised lymphatic systems — so beware. Plus, when I questioned him about his education(mid-way thru), he told me that he almost failed the program because he couldn’t get the technique right. It was so bad that I almost walked out. Last, they are located directly next to a DAY-CARE. They share very thin adjacent walls. So, the entire time that I was stuck in the room with what I believed to be a psycho killer, there were children screaming the entire time — and not the kind of screaming that they do when they play. They were screaming in fits — talk about not being able to relax! One child was taking a tantrum. She was screaming as loud as she could for the entire hour. It was — the worst message experience ever! I just can’t believe they located themselves next to a daycare — not very thoughtful or smart. They did have FREE Valet Parking.
