I’m not sure if it was Nichole’s patience and warm smile or Chris’s laughter and encouragement that helps people like me– (deathly afraid of underwater activities). They give you all the steps up front, make sure that you face your fears– and their Open Water class is a major confidence booster. I did not feel capable of this challenge– or de masking under water. But, by the last day of certification, I was «clearing» my mask when it fogged — without their help. I can’t thank Chris and Nichole enough for what they did for me — thank you both– you’re a beautiful couple and team– and of course, my brave boyfriend, who signs me up for challenging activities. 2 down– 50 more to go!

Nichole and Chris are amazing instructors who are patient and kind. They also are very passionate about diving and care about their students. I highly recommend them. Thank you for getting me prepared for diving in Thailand. I look forward to taking a dive trip with you in the future.

I called around and researched scuba companies, I choose fins up scuba due to there great reviews, great price and quality training.
Our class was in a large pool, they took there time and made sure you know how to scuba by the time you leave the pool session. During the lake dive, I was comfortable and ready for my dive. I felt like I know scuba and how to handle any emergency situation. Thanks Fins Up Scuba

I just finished my Open Water Scuba certification and I can only rave about the training provided by Chris and Nichole, it was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, thorough and most of all patient with me as their student! I would recommend anyone to Fin’s Up for Dive Certification training.

Great shop run by great people! If you have any dive needs, are looking for a great selection in gear, or are looking for awesome people who love to dive and travel the world then this is the place to be! Chris and Nichole are always planning exciting adventures and hosting awesome dive classes! If you are thinking about where to get certified in the valley they are great instructors and make everyone feel welcome!

Not only does PADI give them 5 stars, but I do too!!! Finally a great dive shop in south Scottsdale! Great selection of gear and super helpful staff of instructors!!! Can’t Wait do more diving now!!!
