Fox Cigar Bar – Scottsdale

Great humidor room, nice location, and only $ 6 for a glass of Maker’s Mark??? Definitely stop by here if you get a chance.

Incredible selection of cigars and craft beers on draft will keep me coming back! The venue is quite large with comfy chairs in the center for smaller groups to longer tables off to the side for a bit more privacy. The staff will help with cigar selections based on past favorites or recommend something new. The beer selection is superb– who knew half of those came on draft?! The place is always clean and parking can be found right outside or a short walk away. Definitely give this place!

Mason and the staff here give awesome service and deserve a great review. They are always eager to offer assistance with choosing the right cigar and brew. Good people and a fun place to hang out!

I have no idea why I did not find this place sooner. Great for an alternative. Beats going to your typical Old Town bars who compete against one another. Atmosphere on point. Really wish I could gamble here!

Beautiful location, with great customer service… for the most part. There is a bartender (female) that seems like she only wants to work when management is around. I had to come to the bar for drinks multiple times. This is a comfy location, and has a great atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. It also boast A HUGE drink menu with reasonable prices on both cigars and spirits. BEWARE TR, FRI, SAT, gets crowded; however, the staff still manages its patrons well… for the most part.

This is a really nice place, however the service is poor. The female bartenders are the same rude entitled bartender women you’d encounter in any scottsdale club. Case in point, I asked for a cigar lighter and the bartender threw a book of matches at me. Hopefully, Fox realizes this and provides some training to these women. Cigar bars are not clubs, act accordingly.

Huge fan of the Foxdale location. The selection isn’t quite up to snuff when compared to the Gilbert location, but they still manage to have lots of good stuff including some htf items, but beyond the specific number of sticks this location blows the other out of the water. Lots of booze choices, clean and comfy seating, solid staff, great air cleaners. I’ll be a regular here for sure.

We always like hit the B&M cigar lounges/​shops when we are in a new town visiting. I really tried with Fox, I wanted to like this place. I spend on the average 200 bucks when I visit a place with a nice selection like Cigar Fox. I alway try anything new I haven’t had before. But the staff here, in particular the female bartender with snarky rude comments made me keep my money in my pocket. Paid for the sticks we smoked and left. She must own the place, or is wealthy, because she sure don’t care about service. Twice I asked her questions and she acted like I was bothering her each time, then replied with smart ass remarks. So off we go, directly to find another lounge. There are too many nice cigar lounges in the valley that actually have friendly staff and treat customers well.

Tears of joy. Literal tears of joy coming down my face. Was in town for a conference and was trying to figure out what to do. Saw this place off my Unilocal and decided to stop by. The cigar collection here is impressive, the pairing with the scotch is simply superb, and the customer service is among the best I’ve seen in any industry hands down. All my friends that I know that smoke cigars who can come through Scottsdale I tell them it is a must visit place. Spread the word, put these guys on social media, help make this place THE DESTINATION in Scottsdale.

This place is jaw dropping. I’ve been twice this week and am headed back for third time tonight. FCB must look like that place in heaven reserved for cigar smoking, whiskey/​scotch drinking gentlemen fortunate enough to gain entrance. Luckily for us lovers of puros and spirits, there’s no qualification for entrance save for a simple desire to enjoy the good things in life.
I came here because of other reviews here on Unilocal and I am pleased to announce that each one was spot on. For starters the people who work here don’t act like they work there. Rather they treat customers like personal guests and are there to help everyone from novices to experts. They know their cigars and their spirits so feel free to ask for a recommendation for either or both. I did and I’ve been smoking fine cigars and drinking premium whiskey for a while.
The décor is warm and inviting with lots of dark woods, leather and a gorgeous granite bar. Speaking of the bar, this establishment must have one of THE best stocked ones I’ve seen West of NYC. It’s quite simply astonishing and highly inviting. The air filtration system is very efficient because it is difficult to tell cigar smoking is even under way.
If you’re not sold by my perception, please read the other descriptive reviews for more details and enticement. Ladies, please note this is not a men only hangout. My wife accompanied me on our first visit and enjoyed a flavored cigarillo with me and the Nat Sherman that was suggested by the personable young fellow tending their cavernous glass walled humidor. We sat out on the patio and almost immediately befriended a couple of others who we invited to join us in conversation, cigars and drinks.

I am not a scotch person. Or a cigar person. But I highly enjoyed our impromptu visit to Fox in Old Town. They helped my husband pick out cigars and the waitress helped me select a scotch, which I ended up highly enjoying.
We were there pretty early (5 or 6PM on a Saturday) and the atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed. Not your typical Old Town Scottsdale sort of place (in a good way). Cracks me up thinking of how it used to be Dirty Pretty (oh DP, you totally got what was coming to you).

I’m visiting Scottsdale from Southern California and found this gem. Great staff! Great beer! Great Cigars! This cigar bar sets the standard that other cigar bars hope to achieve.

My husband is always seeking nice places to have a cigar and if they have a full bar better yet. This was my first time here but since opening my husband has been here several times and has been bragging about it since his first visit. And… it is a thirty minute drive from where we live. The place is quite large with lots of TV’s and comfortable leather club chairs and couches. It has decent ventilation for us non-​smokers which helps and a outdoor patio. It has a large humidor with a selection of good cigars at reasonable prices. And of course a full bar. The staff is very friendly and came over to us frequently to see if we needed anything.

We are frequents at the Fox’s and had to check out the newest location. We were very impressed. The ambience is über chill, leather arm chairs galore, plenty of tv’s to keep you up to date on all that ESPN has to offer, an amazing draft selection from pale ale, to hoppy, to dark 10%abv stout. There’s even a fireplace in the corner for your pleasure.

Has the new standard been set? Nope. The standard has been shattered. Fox Cigars in Scottsdale (Foxdale) has created the perfect atmosphere for lovers of fine cigars and alcohol alike.
With OVER 400 spirits, 15 tap handles, and a huge selection of cans and bottles … You will find ANYTHING your little heart desires to drink.
Arguably, one of the largest humidor selections in AZ. You will find most any premium cigar you want. At prices that are amazing!
Tons of TV’s scattered throughout the comfortable lounge allows for watching your favorite game in one of their plush oversized leather chairs WHILE enjoying your cigar and drink.
The building is gorgeous and perfect to host a work meeting or a evening girls get together.
Even if you don’t smoke cigars and want to come enjoy an awesome environment with an amazing selection of drinks, you will remain comfortable with their state of the art ventilation system. Pretty sure someone with asthma would be fine in here! LOL!
However, you can have the best cigar selection, the best alcohol and beer selection, of any cigar lounge and it’s not worth anything if your not comfortable, receiving great customer service, and feel like you belong. Well, don’t worry because Fox Cigars has that covered. The staff are extremely customer service orientated and will take the best care of you. Novice smoker? They will help you pick out just the right cigar and help you find a drink that pairs perfectly. No one is pretentious because Fox has shattered the old stereotypes of cigar smoking.
I’m a fan of the new place and would wholeheartedly recommend you swinging by and checking it out. You won’t regret it!
