I cannot say enough good things about Leah! I hired her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day and everything turned out exactly how I imagined. Prior to my wedding day, we discussed details of what I was envisioning. She was on time, completely professional and her eye for detail was on point! Now, she is my hair dresser! Her color/​cuts always look bomb! I would definitely recommend her!!!

Leah did hair/​makeup for my wedding and overall extremely disappointed in her services. Most of my bridesmaid’s hair fell out shortly after she did it and even after she redid a couple of the girls hair, it still fell out even though she said she had ‘special techniques’ to keep it up. She spent only about 15 min per head. One of my relatives wanted her hair straightened and Leah did not have a straightener with her. Her attitude and demeanor were also unpleasant to be around the day of the wedding. She’s not the kind of person you want around you the day you’re getting married. I booked Leah based on Unilocal reviews and after rereading the reviews feel like the reviews were left by family/​friends. Overall I would not recommend Leah and would suggest hiring anyone else.
I’m curious how you reviewed pics from my wedding since I have not gotten my photos back yet. Obviously that is a lie. My friends and family never said those things you said. Another lie. The only reason you made yourself available for touch ups was because I paid you so don’t say you offered and I will never take you up on free services from you because you are very unprofessional and have a lot to learn about running a business.

Brianna (makeup) and Jeni (hair), trained by Leah, did my Prom 2016 look. Both hair and makeup stayed perfect ALL night and looked amazing, got so many compliments. Will definitely be back for future events!!! Thank you ladies!

Leah is a true professional who has the ability to make you feel beautiful and confident for your big event. I have experieced some make up disasters from «professionals» in the past so I was hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. I definitely got the best!!! Leah arrived early for the appointment which helped to ease my stress since I was on a very tight timeline. She listened to my requests for the look I was going for and delivered it perfectly. The airbrush make up application was perfect. It was very light and glowy and lasted the whole night until I washed my face at midnight. I was a little sceptical about the lashes since no one has ever been able to get that quite right. Leah is the first person ever to apply lashes that are just the right length and weight. I completly forgot I had them on until one started to lift the next day. I highly recommend Leah for her professionalism, talent and efficiency.

Leah was so wonderful! I contacted her the morning I needed my makeup done for my maternity photo shoot I had later that day (nothing like waiting til the last minute!). I left her a message (she was with a client) and she got back to me within 10 minutes — great customer service! Lucky for me, she was able to squeeze me in exactly when I needed her. She even came to my house, which was so convenient! Leah did a fabulous job on my makeup. I usually wear very light makeup and didn’t want to look overdone. Leah listened to my requests, had some suggestions, and my makeup ended up looking flawless! It was exactly the look I was going for. I would definitely use Leah again! Highly recommend!

My girlfriends and I were in Scottsdale for a wedding and were looking to have our hair and makeup done. Leah was wonderful. she makes you feel super comfortable and you can trust her to do an amazing job!

I was in from out of town for my wedding looking for somebody to style my hair for my rehearsal the night before and Leah came highly recommended from a friend. She came to my hotel which was AWESOME and she did an amazing job! She is a sweetheart and you will feel beautiful when she’s finished! I highly recommend her!

Leah did my daughter’s hair and makeup for her prom. She did an amazing job! My daughter looked absolutely beautiful and was so happy with it all — and if you know teen girls, that is a big feat! I am an event planner and do many events — Leah will be my go to makeup and hair specialist for my clients from now on! Oh, and she does house calls!

Whenever I had a question, she was quick to text back. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and Leah naturally brought out the best in me. I have sensitive skin and her products are very high quality. She came to my home which made getting ready easy and comfortable. Leah Joy works Magic on my hair… She straightens it weekly and makes it look absolutely amazing every single time… Most stylists I know can do one type of hairdo good but Leah can style it full, wavy, pin straight, etc… Lasts five or six days! Not only does she make my hair look great she is also very sweet and I enjoy catching chatting with her… She has also cut my hair and did a great job and applied make up for a photoshoot and was the only make-​up artist that truly listened to what I wanted and made it happen. You won’t be disappointed.

Leah did my hair for my senior Prom and it was absolutely perfect! I got so many compliments on my curls and could not have asked for a better job! Leah knew exactly what to do to make my curls look good and they lasted all night. My hair was even still relatively curled when I woke up the next morning!
I have very long and thick hair and curling usually takes hairdressers about an hour. Leah took less than 30 minutes and was very efficient.

Not only is she awesome at her craft, but she is professional too. I have used Leah for special events, photo and video shoots. I always look fresh and natural. Leah’s work is outstanding both personally and professionally and I recommend her to everyone.

I met Leah when she was with D. Antonio’s Day Spa and I followed her to Scottsdale because she delivers every time! I live in Surprise and I wouldn’t drive around town for just anyone. Leah is extremely talented and always professional. I have received so many compliments on my hair since I started going to Leah. The best part is that I can actually replicate her styles at home. She is worth the money and the drive!

Ok, first off… Leah is a hair genius! Best I’ve ever had! And my hair is difficult! I like my hair to be perfect and I never get anything less than perfect with this girl!!! I’m not one to write reviews but I had to stop what I was doing to let you know how amazing Leah Joy is!!!
Need a last minute blow out, make up or color??? Leah Joy is the go to gal to make you feel beautiful. I love the fact that she is mobile and will come to you at a moments notice. She is incredible with an extension blow out (girls, please don’t try to do this on your own, it’s just not worth it). Want to look like a million bucks??? Cal Leah Joy ASAP!!!
Make sure you get the «beachy waves» blow out; there is honestly nothing better. She knows how to work the curling iron better than anyone I know. And my blow out can last almost a week. So what are you waiting for??? Make that call, you deserve this special treat, or in my case… Twice a week treat. Now, aren’t you worth that??? look and feel your best, Leah Joy is the only person in the valley to call.

I had wanted to dye my hair red forever, but I was always afraid & my hair stylists back here in PA just kept adding color over color over color every time I went.
Leah did my hair while I was working out in AZ for an internship & now I’ll have to fly back to AZ for her to continue doing my hair! She blended the absolute perfect coloring I was looking for, and unlike others, she stripped my old dark colors out (in a healthy, completely non damaging way) and I got to start fresh with my amazing red!
I recommend her to everyone in the AZ area!

She was recommended to me from my aesthetician (Jennifer Swink) when I asked if she knew anyone for bridal makeup. I was getting married soon, and was very nervous about finding a quality artist.
I had bad skin, and my blemishes were not easy to cover. I called Leah and set up a trial with her. She was professional, caring, and sweet! Despite being embarassed of my skin condition, I felt comfortable with her and confident she would do a great job on my wedding day.
As I expected, Leah came to me on my wedding day calm and ready to beautify me. She did a fabulous job, and I am so happy I found her. My makeup looked fresh the entire night, and I received many compliments (and continue to) for having a great makeup job. All I can say is thanks to Leah! She also did makeup for two of my bridesmaids /​sister-​in-​laws, and my mother… Her work is flawless! We all had fake eyelashes, which she applied smoothly and they remained secure the entire night.
