It took me many years to finally decide to have the super 8 digitized and they did a superb job. We were were quite pleased with the results because the reels have not been kept in the best condition. Turn around was excellent and the person on the phone was quite pleasant and courteous at fielding my questions.

If you still have the cables that came with your camcorder or VCR you can totally do this at home.

Let people know in advance that they will have to pay a yearly fee to store their pictures or make a DVD available for offline storage

Don’t waste your time and money if your videos contain any kind of music. They won’t transfer them because of «copyright restrictions»!! Cherished family memories of your kid singing along to her karaōke machine? Nope! Background music at your event with friends? Nope! Oh, and they still charge you for those tapes. They owe me for 2 tapes that they didn’t process. I think it’s pretty deceptive.

It’s pretty time consuming to figure out how to edit, add, move photos around in albums, etc. There should be a video tutorial. It’s not totally intuitive and I had to use trial and error to figure out how to organize and move photos from album to album and within an album.

I had been wondering how to convert these 60 films. Your service was SO fast, that I was totally impressed! Thank you!

I needed an old VHS tape with a precious footage of a friend who is not with us anymore transferred into a digital format, so iMemories did a great job. Now I have it in digital format on my computer and actual DVD to be played n the DVD player… It cost me $ 34, which is a bit pricey, but I got a great quality digital version… Good and timely service, and it was easy to reach agents on the phone with multiple questions I had…

Wish I could give it NO stars. Called them to inquire about transferring photos to a DVD for a important presentation that I need completed within 2.5 weeks. Dumb CSR (who is clueless about quality Customer Service and clearly doesn’t give a **&% about actually HELPING a customer) told me they need 2 – 3 weeks for this and NO, they, can’t get it done a mere 2 days sooner. When I asked «WHY not?», dumb CSR says, «it’s the holiday season». Really??? Right after Labor Day… Totally inflexible. When I asked for Manager, she put me on hold & then repeated back to me, verbatim, what she’d just told me. So, either she or the Manager) or both) blew me off, because they cannot «think outside the box». Bad business. This is an order, by the way, that will cost me $$$, so I’m not spending just a couple of bucks!
Would never use this idiotic company and would never recommend! I guess it’s a blessing that the twit on the phone was so bad… otherwise I wouldn’t have gone on to Unilocal & discovered other UNSATISFIED customers.

We got off to a bad start. Me getting e mails, (unsolicited), telling me that I had to to «opt out» of receiving further unwanted advertisements. After several (admittedly snarky) unsolicited calls from me, I was told that «THE AUTHORITIES» would be contacted if I called again! A company that I would do business with? NO WAY!!! Prices over the top? Yes. Who would you complain to… without being told that you were the enemy? These people need to be shut down. Want some fun? Ask speak to to a supervisor about anything, you’ll probably get threatened too. The absolute worst !!!

These people are terrible spammers. They pulled an email off of our website and send us their junk e-​mail multiple times per day. We had nothing to do with them yet we are harassed by them every day. Don’t reward harassment as a sale policy.

These guys spammed me twice within half an hour, and there’s no remove or unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. This company must be very shady if they’re emailing from fake accounts and not supporting unsubscribing. BEWARE

I found that the customer service is quick to respond, but they respond faster than the delivery of product. It took them 2 extra weeks to upload my video to digital format.
I did not find the site helpful or user friendly. Very convolutedI have nothing to show for the money I paid them to digitize my video. I can not even access it any longer on their site and it will only cost me more money just to place an order with them (to then give them more money for the third time) to get ONE DVD.
I feel like I have been taken advantage of and ripped off. I will take my tapes to another company who is far more straight forward. Luckily this was my test run for this company, gave them only ONE tape and tried other companies at the same time. Very displeased with this one.

I had a very old (and faded) photo that they restored to me. They did a great job!

Excellent service from a company offering a priceless gift! Converting my old 16 mm and VHS tapes has been one of the best things I’ve ever done. iMemories guided me every step of the process. I had been worried about getting my things in order first, such a relief to find out that with iMemories, I put my content in order, after they convert it. I love the option to edit from home, and the secure feeling that my memories are being stored correctly. When I gave DVD’s to our family, of special moments from our kids childhood, they all said it was one, if not the best gift they’ve ever received. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Amazing experience with a great company !! My mother wanted to preserve some old memories for the family, so we took some old films and a couple VHS to IMemories. Our initial contact was with Isis. Super nice. After the films/​tapes were digitalized onto the computer we returned to edit them. This is when we met Heather. Can honestly say we would have never been as successful at this process without her holding our hand. Not only did she help walk us through the splicing and dicing, but she really took an interest in our family memories. By the end of our project I truly felt she would be welcome to Sunday dinner. Thank you IMemories !!!

What a fantastic company!! My fiancée, Michael, had turned in numerous tapes that were 20 – 25 years old and had many questions pertaining to the editing process. He first wants to thank Lorraine, Yesenta and the iMemories team for being very helpful and patient (Michael was on the the phone with these lovely ladies for about two hours total), very accommadating and treated his memories like they were their own. iMemories cleaning and restoration was top-​notch and better than Michael could have ever hoped for. We had a great experience with I memories. We had them scan to DVD about 800
photos, and about 40 VHS and mini cam tapes covering 25 year of precious family
fun. We had them organized and dated by year.
They did a great job of enhancing most of them. We then were able to edit the videos on line. A transition or fade between video clips should be added to the program…
When we were confused or learning the process their customer support was responsive and patient as we figured things out.
We also are using their cloud storage for all the photos.

I was so excited to find this service and was looking forward to sharing it with my friends. I read the reviews and felt the risk was a good one. Sending precious videos through the mail to an unknown vendor was scary. Unfortunately, the experience is not a good one so folks beware to read the FINE print. While the site says they transfer footage for $ 9.99 an item. What they DON“T clearly state is that you will be charged an add’l $ 9.99 to have them burned to a DVD. The tapes you send are held hostage until you pay for the DVD burn. So in short if you want your precious footage on a DVD plan on $ 9.99 for Conversion + $ 9.99 to burn to DVD and more shipping charges. Very disappointing. BUYER BEWARE! I just wish I had read Patrick R’s post first. He was SO right. BTW customer service is very, very bad. So proceed at your own risk folks.
