I haven’t taken the boxing classes but the jiujitsu training is awesome! I love the instructor and the soul fighters team. The classes are fun and challenging and I get pushed every day to do my best. I always walk off the mat drenched in sweat so I know I had a great workout!

Amazing gym for people of all fitness levels, from beginner to experienced. I consider myself to be pretty active, but every class I take I end up leaving drenched in sweat with my butt kicked. I have only had a pass for less than a month and I already notice my body composition changing. Whether you want to lose fat, gain muscle or just gain a healthier lifestyle, this is the gym for you!

Had a bad experience with a trainer, but appreciate and respect Fred for his apology and will be giving his gym a chance in the future! Thanks Fred!

Best alternative fitness gym in the valley! This place has everything you could want in a gym. They offer private training, cardio kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kids classes, weight training and this awesome new class called«Bars and Bags» where half of the workout is a cardio kickboxing class then the other half is in the weight room doing circuit training with weights.

My all time favorite studio! I have been coming here for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! It is filled with an amazing staff and their workouts are fun yet challenging. I highly recommend everyone to try Impact MMA. You won’t be disappointed :)

I was looking for a new boxing gym when I moved from Tucson and I shopped around everywhere in the Scottsdale area. I tried Club SAR, and while they had a dirt cheap price of $ 12/mo, they didn’t exactly have the boxing classes I was used to going to, plus it was very cramped inside and lack of traditional hanging heavy bags turned me off immediately. I called FightReady but they wanted around $ 120/mo(way too high) so I never checked them out in person. Then I called Impact MMA and did my trial class. Flashbacks of my first boxing coach’s class hit me and I knew then and there that I found my new gym. The price was good and the class schedule fit with me perfectly. While primarily an MMA gym, I personally go here mostly for the boxing classes. This is the only gym that I know of in Arizona where you can learn from an ex-professional(UFC) champion fighter, Jamie Varner. That is reason enough to sign up here to learn boxing in particular, but on top of that, you’ve got a current pro Muay Thai fighter, Nick Chasteen, who coaches Muay Thai kickboxing regularly, BJJ classes that are always packed, cardio kickboxing classes for leaning out and testing your stamina, the Team MMA group who train for amateur and professional fights, and a small weight area for strength training at your leisure. The icing on the cake is an accommodating staff, family friendly atmosphere for kids, and a clean environment to train. They also provide personal training and nutrition guidance to help get you in shape. While Jamie may be retired, he’s in excellent shape and can still beat you down. Trust me, if you’re looking to learn how to fight or get in shape, you want to have someone like him and the other coaches at Impact watching your back while you become your better self.

Me and my friend went here for a free trial class because I am debating on taking either jiu-jitsu or krav maga classes. You can tell that the trainers are experienced and know what they are doing. The owner even saw me struggling with a move and helped me out a little from behind the fence. However, I am completely inexperienced and the trainer knew this. At first he was very helpful, but when a girl who had done some wrestling in the past came to the class, suddenly me and my friend were second thoughts. Both of us were very inexperienced and just learning the moves and we were always paired together. Meanwhile the trainer pairs himself up with the wrestler and kinda forgets about us. I understand pairing people up with similar skill sets, but if the trainer is too busy wrestling to help us with a move we can’t figure out, I don’t know what the point is of going to the session. However, it was a good workout. I did end up going back to Impact MMA for a cardio kickboxing class and the classes were night and day! The teacher was super attentive and challenging and I ended up sweating more than I ever have from running, weight lifting, cycling, etc. AWESOME full body workout.

I signed up because I thought I would have received better training than I did at the new UFC gym nearby. UFC gym was brand new when I joined and this one almost as new but seemed to have more experienced trainers and even a better facility. This was especially for the grappling which I didn’t do as they had huge Domur mats for many to train on. Also had an octagon which wasn’t used at all at least while I was there. My first boxing session with Jamie Varner’s personal boxing coach was the best one by far as I was the only one there that day. I got to training a few more sessions with him until he decided to only train Jamie and other pros. I sometimes did the kickboxing classes but preferred more the boxing with him, but now that he wasn’t there any longer it wasn’t the same. I started going less and less until it wasn’t worth to continue paying for it so I quit. Now the shitty part is that cancelling was a big hassle since it took forever for them to put me in touch with the person that could terminate my membership. After doing so they charged me a $ 99 cancellation fee which I never agreed to nor was informed about but say that it was in the contract. I was completely mislead and told I was under a month to month membership when I originally signed up. Jamie is a nice guy even though I didn’t talk to him much and loved training with his boxing coach. I think this mma gym has some really good potential but lacks professionalism and decent management.

Impact MMA is an awesome gym from the state of the art equipment to the great space and awesome atmosphere. I tried a few gyms before coming to Impact and absolutely none compare. World class instructors and training, awesome staff, and amazing classes. I started with boxing and kickboxing and then discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I found a new passion in all three and an incredible workout that’s giving me the physical and mental results I wanted. You are most certainly missing out if you haven’t tried Impact!

Impact MMA is a state of the art facility with a great staff. As soon as you walk in the door, you can see that they did not cut any corners when building this gym. I joined to attend the lunch time Kick Fit class, but there is something for everyone. Whether you are looking to train, get in shape, or learn self defense, this is your place. Impact has a friendly and knowledgeable staff that make you feel at home. They will keep you motivated to get through each workout and leave with a feeling of accomplishment. This gym is definitely worth checking out!

My 9yr old daughter trains in the kids hybrid karate class. We followed Coach K from another gym to be at Impact. Coach K has been her coach since day one. He has MANY years working with kids. Along with the 1st class equipment ie– bags, boxing ring, cage, pads, etc. all the trainers are very experienced. The staff is so friendly and you always feel welcome when walking in. Love this gym!!!
