Took in my Dyson DC40 for a roller malfunction. Was greeted by a sales associate who said that the belt and/or clutch could be broken(poor knowledge). Then she gave me a 3 – 4 week wait time for diagnosis! She said they had around a 100 vacuums waiting in their shop and that Orecks got preference for repair. Got the vacuum home, did some you tube research and I fixed the problem. My suggestions: 1. Don’t go there if you don’t have a Oreck although there is sign at the front door inviting any brand. 2. If 100’s of Orecks are in the shop, its probably not a very reliable brand to buy!

The customer service at this store is quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced. After dropping off my Dyson Vacuum on the 4th of the month I was told it would ready on the 22nd. The only reason I actually agreed was because I was told I would be able to get a loaner vacuum and would receive a call when one was available. I called three times in the time that my vacuum was there and never once received a call back regarding the loaner. I then called on the date of the 22nd to see if my vacuum was done. Again, was promised a call back and never received one. On the 23rd I stopped in to check/pick up my vacuum and was told that they were unable to get the part they needed in order to repair the Dyson. They claim to have left a voice mail but I never received one. In addition, I received no apology, just that it was a manufacturing issue not their issue. I will never purchase anything or go to this store again even though it is the closest and most convenient store to my home.
