Absolutley DONOT use this place! After taking more than 100 items, many with tags they said that they would go through and ket me know what they would take. We never heard back from them and they claimed they took about 13 items and donated the rest. They are full of it. This place is a joke. Customer service is a joke. I asked for the items back because they were supposed to let me know how much they were taking before donating. They said it was too late and its over with now. This is the WORST experience i have ever had in dealing people. In my opinion These people are bottom feeders and they are the scum the earth. Just donate your clothes and get a receipt. Do not trust these people. Update!!! The comment below by the manager is a Damn LIE! Nothing was resolved and she offered no resolution other to say«its done and over with now». In my opinion she and her staff are thief’s and should not be trusted. In my opinion she Responds with flat out lies and and is not sincere in the least.

I have been bringing in very nice merchandise for about 3 years now. I have alway had a very nice experence with the woman selecting my merchandise until about 6 weeks ago. I don’t know the womans name but she has blonde hair and russia accent. She is just about the rudest person with a nasty attitude. She did take some items, handed me a receipt, and yelled at me to go in the coner to collect items not chosen. This happend 3 separate times. Location is north scottsdale on pima road. She needs to go back to retail 101 and learn how to be nice to customers… When i asked her what charitys to give merchandise to? She snaps at me I DON’T KNOW!!!

I am so disappointed with this location. My mom and I have been coming here for years. They have really gone down hill. Mainly their customer service. Everyone there is so snobby and rude. I came in with a pile of clothes in great condition and they took absolutely nothing. Not one item. They didn’t even say why, the lady just pointed to my stuff and said, «We don’t want anything.» Apparently Ann Taylor and White House Black Market isn’t what they’re looking for. So disappointed. I will be looking to consign elsewhere.

Horrible experience. Brought in several pairs of designer jeans and boots. They accepted nothing. Stating that they were«dated». Yet, on the racks, most of the jeans I sifted through were dated and worn with many pairs having holes and tears in the jeans. Not to mention lots of jeans were altered by previous owners. I tried several items on, kept a few on one of their rolling shopping carts, walked away for a few minutes to shop at a different rack, only to come back 5 minutes later to an empty cart. Apparently someone put all my items back on the rack and I had to go through everything to find what I had put aside. Side note, a few years back I brought in a few dresses I had worn as a brides maid. Mint condition. Beautiful dresses. Only to find out later that they were given away later due to deodorant stains, which clearly happened while people tried the dress on in their store. I got zero for these dresses that I payed hundreds for. Should have sold them on Craigslist instead. Will consign elsewhere from this point forward.

I should have read these reviews before asking my husband to drop off the clothing. Just today he attempted to drop off two large bins of clothing that ranged from a very nice Ralph Lauren raincoat to inexpensive(but never worn) JCPenny career skirts. Everything was folded, clean(yes…with a few stray cat hairs, probably… but I was sure they could get those off with a roller as they hung them up), new with tags attached or like new(worn only once or twice). There was a never worn Michael Kors bathing suit, 6+ pairs of $ 70 jeans, two pairs of designer brand capri pants, a designer brand heavy silk knit tank, several heavily embroidered and lined skirts from DressBarn, etc. etc. There was actually some very nice things in there. After my husband waited over an hour, and out of everything he took them(which was almost three dozen pieces of never worn or only worn 1−2x items), they took 3 pieces! The Ralph Lauren raincoat, a leather jacket, and a beaded duster jacket. That’s it! Not the other designer items, not the ball gown! I need to make a visit soon. perhaps all they really do sell is high-end, never worn, fur, leather and other luxury/designer items. Very, very disappointing. :(

I honestly don’t know where to begin with this review… I have been bringing items to both locations(Pima and Lincoln) for about 2 years now. I will start with the positive– I like the idea of their consignment system, which allows you to bring in clothing that you don’t wear and build credit on your account. You can either use your credit toward other items in the store or cash out. They are usually friendly(more so at the Lincoln location) and are quick to tag, log and sell your items. Now the bad– there is SO much inconsistency with the items they take. It’s quite frustrating, actually. Their intake department is a mess and depending on who is looking at your items, you may walk away with everything you brought in. You will be told different things by different people as to what they are looking for or want. In addition, their system is frequently«down» so you often times can’t get your account balance or a consigner report, which shows which items sold and for how much. Lastly, don’t expect to get top dollar for your clothes. They will sell even high end designer items at a small fraction of what they are actually worth. If you are there purely to shop, it’s a unique company and you will most likely find some awesome deals. If you shop AND consign, it may not be worth it for you. Just be careful and always get an intake receipt and track your items.

Seller beware is right! You get little to nothing when you consign with them and they do not accept responsibility when they loose or misplace your merchandise. I consigned a very expensive pair of Men’s pants that they«lost» and they did nothing to reimburse me for the loss. They are not easy to work with and not customer friendly. The whole Consignment industry in the valley seems like a scam… they are not the only store to misplace merchandise and not uphold their end of the bargain to payout. Other consignment stores have done the same injustice. Seller and buyers beware! CONsign can be a CON! They are not doing you any favors!

I agree with the person that said seller beware. Basically, plan on getting next to nothing on whatever you consign. They will price items for very little(sometimes it is actually better to just donate rather than deal with the intake hassle and payment) and it can take weeks for it to even make it out on the sales floor. You cannot ever question what your items will be priced at, discounts applied or what you end up getting. If you disagree, that is tough… and good luck getting through to speak with someone at the corporate office. They do not return voice mail messages either. Oh well… I eventually gave up as most people probably do when dealing with them at any level. My guess is that they have high employee turnover and I agree with the person that stated that dealing with the N. Scottsdale manager, Ashley, is difficult. She is not customer oriented or even a nice person for that matter. She acts condescending and doesn’t even pretend to want to help customers or get to a point of satisfaction. Buyers should also beware because I have found that even though they reject items I may bring in in good condition, there are a lot of damaged items on the sales floor. Remember: They absolutely do not let you return ANY items. Sometimes it is ridiculous the items I see that they have out – sweaters with holes, items with broken zippers, etc. Check all items carefully because sometimes the damage(or alterations) are more subtle. Keep your fingers crossed that you don’t notice something once you get home because after the purchase, you are stuck with it!!!

Buyer enjoy… consignor beware. I’ve been a loyal shopper for over a year and spent well over 4K in this store. The staff has always been inconsistent, but I wasn’t looking for service, at the time. Then, I became a seller. I gave them a few designer items, which they held for nearly a month and still hadn’t placed for sale. I went in 3 days before we were moving out of state and requested my items back, since they hadn’t yet been placed on the floor. Something which is clearly stated in their contract that they will do for a small fee. I was met with nothing but rude and unprofessional behavior by Ashe, the«manager». She questioned me about why I wanted them, told me to leave them and then just keep calling to find put when they’d sold so they could put a check in the mail… and more questioning. When I finally stated I wanted them back period, she told me that could take awhile, since«as you can see, we are very busy». I said she had two days to find them, she said that was likely not possible. She promised a call later that day with an ETA, and I got nothing. I called the next day, they said she couldn’t speak with me but would call me back. No call. No help from anyone. Same the following day. Apparently, you have to be a hostage negotiator to get YOUROWN property back upon your request. When I called again to surrender and just change my address with them for the eventual sale… they said they couldn’t do that. Really? From a matter of principle alone, I would never shop here again, regardless of the fact that I now live elsewhere. Just ridiculous behavior from any business. Keep my stuff and my money, Sisters Closet… you clearly need it more than I do. Hopefully, you use it to pay some folks to work for you that represent your business better.

Went here today for some shopping with my mom. Overall the place is nice, it is pretty big for a consignment store. They had a large selection of fur coats and winter jackets, it is a bit outdated but I think that is the whole«theme/look» they are trying to go for in the store. There is sections for designer shoes and handbags but for the overall rest of the store there is not a lot of new brands that everyone knows about.
