NS Nails & Spa

Coming from California, and based on Unilocal reviews, my husband and and I got pedicures here last week while visiting family in Scottsdale. It was his first time ever having professional nail care. While I will say the shop and equipment are clean and well maintained and he’s happy, I’m very disappointed with the services we got.
To begin, my technician was extremely unfriendly. She never introduced herself, welcomed me or spoke to me at all other than to quote prices and criticize me for checking that my nails were cut short enough. I felt as though I was imposing on her time. She did speak frequently in another language to the tech next to her who was pedicuring my husband. That lady was much more pleasant to us both.
Furthermore, in order to receive any sort of leg/​foot massage we had to upgrade from a standard pedicure to the «hot rock» option. This costs $ 5.00 more for each of us. It was pleasant though inadequately short. I’ve never in my many years of pedicures had a standard option that didn’t include at least a basic leg and foot massage. $ 5.00 then buys an upgrade to a full ten minute dedicated foot and leg massage if I so choose.
Finally, after I left the shop I noticed that while the tech had cut my nails adequately short as requested, she did not file them smooth; all of my toe nails are rough on the ends. Nor did she adequately remove heel calluses.
All in all I got poor service and a mediocre job for a not-​cheap price. Id advise finding another nail shop instead of this one.

Amazing, clean and friendly services! Love the clean odorless smell and their selection of polishes! I bring my niece in here all the time and we use the little kid pedicure chairs and get our feet done together, and get matching toe colors, definitely my to go place!

Best prices hands down! Every time i come in for a mani pedi combo, it comes out very clean and perfect. Im very picky and love a huge selection of colors! I bring my daughter in all the time and she loves the child pedicure chairs so cuuuteeee!

Hands down the best for kids pedi mani combo! They have kid friendly chairs. They treat her like an adult pedicure!
I love getting pedicures here! Great selection of colors. They have cute and affordable jewelry for sale at the front of the store as well.
All of their prices are posted big on the wall, they do not try and trick customers. It says what you get with each item. (example — sea salt scrub, hot stones, etc)
I’ve done walk ins and appointments. All the staff has always been super nice and friendly.
Why not drop the kids off next door (at AZ Air Time) and treat yourself?! Or Mommy and me girl time?

I came here on my lunch to get a quick manicure. There was no one in this place except 4 little girls who had 3 ladies working on their nails. I asked how long the wait would be and they said 10 minutes. I walked in at 12:45 and walked out at 1:10 with no manicure. Ridiculous! I went across the street to Scottsdale Nails and they took me right away!

I love this place. Mini-​me and I were due for some bonding time so we headed here since our experience was pleasant last time.
I love that they have little chairs for her, it makes the experience for her better and makes us feel welcome.
The hours weren’t posted on their Unilocal listing but we headed over there with our fingers crossed and luckily they were open. (M-​S until 6 and Sunday until 5). I’m always nervous to go to a place less than an hour before closing because I assume I’m going to get poor service. Luckily, this wasn’t the case. The ladies were friendly, chatting with us for a bit but mostly we enjoyed the nice warm water and foot massage on this ugly day. I can tell you with much enthusiasm that the spa pedicure is the best, well worth the extra.
I don’t mind driving the extra distance to this place. Well worth it.

This was, quite possibly, the worst gel manicure that I have ever received. The technician did a nice job using regular polish for my pedicure, but the gel manicure was horrible. Upon leaving, my first thoughts were to get it fixed immediately at another salon. Also, the technician did not use clean tools. She kept dipping them into a bowl that had other dirty tools soaking in it. I would not recommend this salon for gels at all.

This place rocks. They are great for kids but also give high quality mani pedi for not a lot of money. There is a mother and her two daughters who are the primary operators but all the others are great too. They are either slammed busy or can do walk ins. I hope they continue to do well because they are my go to.

NS nails hasn’t had a review yet and I can’t imagine why? These girls are amazing and for Scottsdale the prices are GREAT! I have been to many places over this area and this little shop is the best bang for your buck. They are a little hard to find but if you know where AZ AIRTIME is you will be right next to their door. I won’t be going anywhere else for a long time. Thanks girls for all the wonderful mani/​pedi you have done for me and the cute designs :)
