Paris of Scottsdale

This review is mostly for the bouncers. I pulled over into their parking lot because my friend was sick and throwing up. Right away one of the bouncers asked if she was okay, he got her a bottle of water. One other bouncer asked us if everything was okay. Another one got us some napkins and offered us a bag. Overall it was about 4 of them that made sure we were fine, I really wish I would have gotten their names. Most bouncers I have met are very rude, but they were extremely helpful and kind. Props to the hiring managers here. I will be back soon.

Looking for a dance club and decided to check this one out. Arrived around 10:30 and by 12:00 there were maybe 10 people there on a Friday night. The waitresses were barely wearing anything, but very sexy. The music wasn’t that great. Some reviews stated that Paris plays EDM, but I would call it gangster rap. It wasn’t dance music, just bass booming and rappers talking about their bitches and hoes.

Classy atmosphere, great drink specials, overall a good experience. Will definitely recommend to others. I read the other reviews, I don’t think you can fault a club for booking your reservations with a false promoter lol.

I’ve been here twice, both times on a Wednesday night. Each time the club was essentially empty and playing EDM (which is my type of music).
The drink prices the first time were not all that favorable and the second time it was $ 5 you-​call-​its (which is OK I suppose).
My biggest complaint is that the music was way too loud for the crowd. I am a believer that you scale the music to the amount of people. Don’t get me wrong, I like my music loud… it is just that when only 15 people are there (8 of them being staff) you don’t need to be blowing the doors off the hinges loud. When I was inside there is no way I could have a conversation of any sort — so I normally just went outside and listened to the music (and the sliding glass door buckle under the volume).

Visiting AZ for the weekend and was recommended this club.
1. When we got there, there were loads of drunk people outside of the club (like sitting on the ground).
2. The bartender although friendly wasn’t very effective.
3. $ 9 coronas (ehhh)
4. Outside was more fun, it wasn’t as crowded and the staff was friendly.
5. Music was okay, lots of old hip hop and salsa (not normally my thing).

Cool environment, wish there was more variety in the music besides mostly hip-​hop. Definitely appreciated the little bit of Spanish music put on.

I wish I could give this place no stars. We talked to a promoter since Wednesday to reserve a table for my friends birthday. He got all of our guests names and manager even threw in a free bottle of champagne for the bday girl. As soon as guests arrived, some arrived earlier, said her name at the door and no table was reserved! We spoke to a «Matthew Martinez» and they said no «Matthew» even worked there. Then to correct the situation, they offered a table with 3 bottles for $ 750! I’m not going to spend money for a table that is more than my car payment when they messed up the whole situation. They also offered a table for $ 250; however, that table happened to be outside and it happened to be raining. I do say the music is okay. Its hip hop and they deliver but as far as customer service, lame! We should’ve known as this place has changed its name three times to get new customers in but they never change anything else and their customer service obviously needs to be changed. horrible. I’m sure it won’t be long until they change their name again.

Honestly the best place to listen to HipHop music in Scottsdale. Nice looking crowd, great music and amazing staff. I couldn’t believe how big it was inside.

I honestly was a little hesitant coming to Cameo after my bad experiences at other hip hop oriented clubs but I can honestly say I’ve had some good times at this night club!
The place is really hidden and I only found out about it by some friends. It’s located behind the 18 and over club Afterlife and near the old location where Firehouse used to be. The place looks small from the outside but is actually a decent size inside. My friends and I could actually dance and order drinks comfortably. More importantly the environment was cool, the music was great, and there wasn’t any drama. I even got to meet Joey Boy on my birthday and he was a chill dude.
The dress club is formal but they do allow Jordans on which is fine but rare for clubs in Old Town or Mill. The only knock on this place would be the location. Since its a ways from the center of old town, it’s really a «let’s end the night here» type of place since there aren’t as many cabs, golf carts, or taxis around now that nearby places such as firehouse closed down. I guess it would be difficult to compete with Red Revolver if they moved inward but I do prefer it here. Definitely my spot for my hip hop fix!
