I had a breast lift and asked for a breast reduction to no more than a B. I have always had large breasts and wanted to have small breasts to buy cute bras and not have that pain any longer. She performed the surgery and my post op check up was awful she was rude and mean. I hate that I chose her as a doctor. My boobs are still giant, she did talk me into an implant that she said would be really small to simply keep everything up. The implants give me a strange cleavage. At least with my large breasts previously I had great cleavage. I am going to have to consult with a new doctor and have the reduction again and remove these stupid implants. She has an awful bedside manner and when i stated i was unhappy with the large size she said well you will probably be back for something else and we will fix it then. YIKES! i was afraid she was going to tell me what I needed to come back in for. she is scary.

Dr. Flint has the rudest staff I have encountered. As a potential patient, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect, but that was absolutely not the case. My first impression is the last impression I will have, as I would never hire a surgeon with this type of staff. I informed the staff of my referring doctor and they will no longer refer to Dr. Flint based on my experience.

Dr. Flint did not make proper preoperative markings and basically winged my surgery. Patti Flint, M.D. did an anchor lift on me despite my asking three times if she did a lollipop/vertical lift which would have left a much smaller scar. Instead of telling me the truth that she did not perform this procedure at the time and she told me that I had too much skin.. My areola/nipple ended up 1.5 inches too high which was very noticeable even in clothing and bras(which my new«breast» would fall out of). Dr. Flint didn’t even try to measure my nipple at my postop appointment months later when I brought up that my nipple was popping out of my bras and tops. Talk about dishonesty, she altered my 2007 records to try to cover up her mistakes made in the 2011 surgery. Since then I have had 2 painful reconstructive surgeries with William Leighton M.D.; including a breast expander under my muscle and another revision/reconstruction. This doctor actually repeated Patti Flint’s mistake and my breast is now disfigured even further. I am a single mom and I recently quit my job due to stress related to Dr. Flint’s mistakes. I pleaded with her to pay for the reconstructive surgeries to no avail, which totaled over $ 12,000. Additionally Patti Flint has had several malpractice lawsuits filed against her. You can see for yourself on the Maricopa County Civil Case Search page. I agree with the other poster about her cold and distant bedside manner or lack of it. Of course Dr. Flint is going to tell you she would never alter records, message me I’ll give you proof she did it. It takes a lot for an attorney to proceed with a malpractice case and she has 2 filed against her. Just imagine the countless cases who didn’t make it to court because it’s not profitable enough for attorneys. Do yourself a favor and choose a more caring, qualified, and experienced surgeon. I saw Dr. Flint in both her Scottsdale, and Mesa offices

I wanted to give praise and a huge thank you for Dr. Flint. I just recently had rhinoplasty and a deviated septum correctly. First, let me tell you about myself. I am terrified of needles and pain. But, who really likes that? I have been talking to Dr. Flint about this issue for over 6 yrs and I finally did it. She was patient, caring and explained as much as I could handle(don’t care for blood either) on the procedure. I went into Greenbaum Surgery Center(almost a hotel, which amazing staff). The worst part about this surgery was the IV(remember, I hate needles). There was very little pain and discomfort. I just felt like I had a bad head cold. That’s really all. I went into my follow up appt after surgery today and things are looking great! I know there are many Surgeons to choose from, especially in Scottsdale, AZ. But, let me tell you. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Flint and her staff.

I am so sorry I hired Dr. Flint for my surgery. I chose her because the thought of a woman’s perspective on cosmetic surgery made the most sense but I was completely wrong to have chosen her based on that fact alone. I went in for a nipple correction surgery and the results were not what was discussed/expected. The pain was also severe so instead of going back to her(because I didn’t want to risk having the procedure not corrected again), I elected to find another surgeon who put me under to perform the operation correctly this time. When I tried to get a partial refund from her, she refused. I understand mistakes are made and with cosmetic surgery, I fully accept the fact that results aren’t guaranteed but I also believe people should take responsibility for their mistakes. To deny a partial refund, after I had to pay another surgeon to complete what she should have done in the first place, shows lack of integrity and pride in your work. Based on this board, it appears I’m not the only one with complaints and I’m not surprised.

I was 21 when I had my first breast augmentation. After 13 years, it was time for a swap out. However over the years my implants began to drop and move all over the place. With the first surgeon I saw(he will remain nameless), put in way larger implants then I wanted. I started at a natural 34 A cup, asked for a C cup and woke up from surgery a full D cup. With time and hormones I was now a full 34DD. My original implants were 375cc saline implants filled to nearly 450 each. In order for such a large implant to fit the original doctor had to cut the natural fold of my breast. With such heavy implants and that fold cut, the implants slowly moved down. When I saw Dr. Flint she suggested a full fold revision with Straticce placement(to rebuid my natural breast fold and thicken the thinning tissue I had) and swapping the implants for a moderate profile silicone implant just a bit smaller then what I currently had. The surgery itself was very uncomfortable, but with the medications prescribed by Dr. Flint, the pain was very manageable. I now have 350cc on once side and 400cc on the other and a beautifully rebuilt natural breast fold. The first time I saw my breasts post surgery, I almost cried. I had no idea how self conscience I really felt about my old implants. They were heavy and uncomfortable and I never realized how unnatural and almost deformed they really did looked. I am thrilled with my new breasts! I am now currently 2 ½ weeks out of surgery and am astonished how amazing my new breasts look! I am thrilled already and I know the end will result will be even better. Dr. Flint is a true artist and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for future surgeries. She and her staff are always warm and friendly with smiling, happy faces, always willing to answer any questions. Working with Dr. Flint and her staff as been nothing but truly pleasant and just plain easy. I highly suggest Dr. Flint for any cosmetic surgery you may be considering!

Patti Flint did a facelift on my wife in June of 2013. We picked her due to being a woman and being listed as a Top Doc in the Phoenix Magazine. As it turns out these are not good criteria for picking a plastic surgeon. Patti’s demeanor is cold and distant. We initially took that as simply conveying a professional air. But it turns out she really is cold and distant. My wife’s pain following the surgery continued long after it should have normally gone away. It even increased. Patti’s initial response was to assure us the pain would be gone in no longer than three months. When three months was past she suggested various massage techniques. When this failed to give any relief she then said it shouldn’t take more than two years(the time limit on filing a liability suit — coincidence?). She also implied the problem may be psychological. Upon reviewing my wife’s records that Patti provided(we needed them for other doctors to review), we found the records«doctored» to state that my wife had complained of neck pain prior to the surgery. This is not true. In addition to the above she made an unnecessary incision during the surgery and told us she had done a revision on an old scar — there was no old scar to revise. It continues to baffle us why she did this. We have spent hundreds of dollars visiting others plastic surgeons, pain specialists, neurologist etc. to try to find a solution to her continued debilitating pain. Suggestions we have received are that perhaps the problem is caused by the non-dissolvable stiches Patti used. One doctor offered to remove the stitches as they may be in contact with nerves thus causing pain. The doctor told us he never uses permanent stiches for this very reason. My wife has been prescribed Gabapentin by a Neurologist, which seems to be relieving the pain a bit, yet now she has to deal with other side effects. I previously posted this on Unilocal. It was removed by Unilocal the same day Patti sent an email to my wife seeking information on her recovery. She mentioned in her email that she had read her review. What? She can’t stand a negative review? In her email to my wife she didn’t offer to help find any solution.

I chose Dr Flint, for rhinoplasty, twice. The first time, I felt she and her staff were professional and caring. They answered my myriad of questions. they were very patient with me. I felt Dr Flint was very honest and forthcoming with me. I felt I got an honest assessment of what I could expect. Surgery went well and I healed quickly. I was delighted with the result. ! year later I broke my nose, very badly. Now it has been a year since my last surgery. I had another great experience with her and her staff. My nose looks natural, fits my face. I would work with Dr Flint again. but hopefully not for my nose…
