Pucci Salon

Great salon. I should come here more often. So far I’ve only been coming here occasionally to have my hair «fixed» after other salons have ruined it. Puccis is very clean, kind and professional.

Right on Scottsdale Road this salon is where it’s at. The people are fun and friendly. The atmosphere is bright and open. Ask for Mateo if you are looking for a new stylist!

I received a certificate for a blow dry and makeup. The certificate said it expired in December. When I called to make an appointment they said that it expired, the makeup for no longer valid. I was going to get all dressed up for a photoshoot with my cousin and give the pictures to my dad for father’s day. Guess I can’t do that now.

I have been coming here since 2011, and I have had great service, up until my last visit in june 2014. My usual hair guy was off the day i needed to come in, so i tried a new person. When i have done this in the past, i have only been pleasantly pleased with the service, and quality. This time was different. I would be rating this salon 5 stars, but this girl Nancy (whom i hear is no longer with the salon), left me in tears after a color and cut. I would hope the salon would hand pick only the best. Unfortunately, this girl slipped through the cracks.
Aaaaanyways, this review is about my normal experience… not that one instance, but i still feel as though the owners should know about all the experiences their clients go though. NORMALLY, I sit down with a beverage of choice, and am pampered fully. My go to guy is Brad, I’ve had my best hair cuts from him… worth every penny! He takes the time to make sure every strand is perfect, all the split ends are gone, and I look like a million bucks by the end of the appointment. I couldnt be more thrilled! Im glad i came back to Pucci and gave them another shot. You regained my trust!

All I need to say is that Drew is definitely one of the best stylists I’ve ever had. Had him cut and dye my hair and I can say I’ve never left a salon 110% satisfied but yesterday, I was. With talent like that, he’ll be moving up in the «hair world» sooner than later. His passion for what he does truly shows. Very thankful to have found him!

I have always been a barbershop guy. Tried something new today and I am hooked. Drew did an amazing job and I have the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. The best part is definitely the shampoo. Also, the entire place is full of beautiful women. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it. I will be back.

I have tried different salons and stylists as an effort to save time and money. But, I keep going back to Adrianna at Pucci Salon. She’s consistently great and I know I’ll walk away from her chair with a great cut.

This is review is for Shawn Helton. Shawn has been my stylist for over 14 years. I’m sad that he’s left me in DC, but my loss is Scottsdale’s gain. I never thought much about my hair before seeing Shawn, but once he started cutting and styling it, I got addicted to all the compliments. I’ve tried others, but nothing was ever as close to as good as what Shawn could do. He is conscientious throughout, relying on craft and skills rather than tools, and he can easily see what you’d like your hair style to be, or he can make suggestions if you ever dream of being hip (as I did earlier this year).
Can’t recommend him enough.

I feel like I’ve grown up with Pucci. Pucci was the first salon I ever visited for a «grown-​up» haircut and blow dry. This was when I was in junior high. I remember sitting in the chair and feeling so beautiful when I looked in the mirror to see my new do! Since then, I’ve visited Pucci over the years and my favorite memory as a «grown-​up» is a year+ ago when they saved the day the week of my wedding. I was convinced to get eyelash extensions for my wedding and honeymoon and was sold on the thought of not needing to wear mascara on my honeymoon. Eyelash extensions last two weeks. My makeup artist did a great job with them, but due to a lack of communication, I realized all too late that my new eyelashes looked more like I was club ready than wedding ready. I looked a little too wild for my liking! I was only three days away from my wedding and had no idea what to do because eyelash extensions are permanent unless you get them removed or they naturally fall out. I decided to turn to an old favorite, Pucci. I walked in and was able to make an appointment with Shauna. I explained the situation to her and she did a great job of keeping me rational and optimistic. We went through the options and although she didn’t officially recommend my decision, she agreed to remove the eyelash extensions at the end of my eyes. A couple magical minutes later, I looked in the mirror and poof! I no longer looked like I was about to hit the clubs and instead looked like I had perfect eyelashes ready for my wedding day. She truly saved the day and I will also continue to support Pucci. This is because they offer excellent customer service and they have highly qualified staff who know how to work magic on your appearance. You’re going to pay for it, but the money is worth the outcome.

The salon is modern and I’ve had several services here including hair, color, cut, eyelash tint/​extensions! Lauren is great with make up and I highly suggest Adrianna for hair.

Moving from Chicago and had been looking for a replacement stylist to cut long hair without screwing it up or chopping it all off and I wait for it to grow back, but gladly it was worth the wait to finally come across several Unilocal reviews and a salon that carries and uses Oribe products.
I called the day before for an appointment and was asked about the texture of my hair (replied long hair?) and the receptionist stated she wanted to determine which stylist would best be suited for my hair type which i found interesting and based on the time of appt I was available for, I was scheduled with Brad and I couldn’t have been more pleased!
The salon was fairly busy for a Wednesday afternoon and I was told it wasn’t even that busy (I’d hate to go when it was busy then) but very friendly front staff and Brad was a pleasure with my hair and respected my length request and took his time shampooing and conditioning and scalp massage (could have been a few mins longer but that’s just me), and very informative about hair product and types of brushes, hair dryers and overall health of the hair which is nice to see someone so passionate about their job! it’s a rarity these days and I’ll be returning for Brad to cut my hair and maybe even color it (he does both!). Thanks Brad for your exceptional work!
I left a very happy and satisfied customer and this salon is worth the drive from downtown Phoenix if my hair is taken care of and wonderful products to select from (they’re even carrying the new travel size products). Plus you get a card after you spend so much on products for $ 25 off the next product purchase. I highly recommend it and the reason there’s 4 stars and not 5 is just because I found it to be very busy and small for a place that has 30 stylists/​chairs, but great for them that they get so much business!

Received a great blowout from Larissa. Nice and clean salon with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Loved the picture of Ava Gardner on the wall. Will definitely return for blowout styling or a trim when I’m next in Scottsdale.

Paco was incredible. I received a gift certificate for a cut and blow dry and decided to go here for the first time. What a cool spot and everyone is so nice.
I’m pretty basic with my hair and put a lot of trust in who is doing it. Paco was knowledgeable and great and even died my hair last minute which was SUPER cool because I needed some color correction and he did a great job.
I was offered a glass of wine and was able to relax and treat myself to something nice. I would definitely go back at any point and if you go, talk to Paco, hes wonderful.

This review is for stylist Joyce.
Joyce is the first stylist I have found that I actually want and will be faithful to! She understands my hair and delivers on what I ask for– not a modified version (what she thinks I should do). However, she offers her input when I specifically ask and I have come to trust and value her opinion enough that I would ask for it every time I am thinking of making a change. She has not led me astray yet!
I always need to see a stylists own head of hair before I book with her/​him as this, to me, is a dead giveaway. Joyce has AMAZING hair! For any blondes out there– natural or otherwise– Joyce is the stylist for you, without a doubt! Oh, and she gives a mean scalp massage during the shampoo process! I look forward to it so much every time I come in! Sometimes I get tempted to book a wash only because it feels so good!
The last piece of the puzzle for me is personality. More than anything, I hate feeling super awkward in that seat, especially knowing that I could be there for hours. Joyce puts me at ease. Conversation always flows naturally and she offers a nice balance in knowing when to chat and when to just give me a little downtime to read a magazine, work on my laptop, or simply close my eyes and take a little break from everything.
Overall, Joyce offers the perfect combination of all that I desire from a stylist. I think most others would feel the same way. I have both, female and male friends that use her services as well and have also not found any need to switch to anyone else. She is able to achieve a superior quality at a quicker timeframe than most others I’ve been to, which I think is probably due to her years of experience and high level of expertise in her craft. She is also warm and caring, sociable and energetic. Pucci Salon is lucky to have her on their team.

With so many Salons in the Valley I did not think it would take me a couple years to find a stylist that can provide a cut and color like Scarlett.
I love PUCCI Salon but what keeps me coming back is Scarlett and her professionalism and talent. She has that cutting edge type of talent that you follow and I hope that she plans to stay in the Valley at least as long as I am here!!! Selfish but true :-) I thank my mom for finding her. We both feel spoiled!

I have been in the Phoenix area for six moth, having relocated from California. In CA, I had been going to the same person for my brows (wax and tint) and the same person for my hair (short with both highlights and lowlights) for YEARS. So it’s tough to find new people. But I FOUND them at Pucci.
Lauren is absolutely wonderful for brow shaping and color. Nailed it on the first try, and I keep going back for her consistent expertise. She’s a lovely person to round off a great professional salon experience.
Thank goodness for Shawn Helton! I am really picky about my hair. I have a lot of it, so my short cut can be challenging. Also, I like to modify my color for the seasons, and I like some contrast (dark/​light), so have highlights and lowlights. Shawn is a pro, AND he is super efficient — a quality I have come to appreciate, having tried a few others and spent way too much time in the chair. The other great thing about Shawn is that he is really creative and confident — both qualities that I really admire and need in my hair stylist.
I will say that I have had NO ISSUES WITH THE FRONT DESK. They have always been attentive, polite and friendly to me.

So I have been going to Pucci for years– since it was at a different location. What keeps me coming back? ****Genevieve Forkenbrock****! She is such an amazing stylist! Great with color, cuts, special occasions, and when I got married just a few weeks ago… she was the only one I would have trusted to do my hair! Go book with her– you won’t be disappointed! She has a lot of experience and is always current on new styles and old. She was able to accomplish my old Hollywood style waves for my wedding hair– not many people could pull that off!
They will pamper you with you their amazing products, great wash and massage, and you can order drinks like iced tea, soda, hot tea, coffee, etc…
I also for the second time saw Lauren Ballard for my wedding make-​up, she was a lot of fun and very good at what she does. I have NEVER worn face make-​up before (ex. concealer, powder, anything to cover up). She made it light and made me feel comfortable. She also really listened to what I wanted.

The Salon itself is OK, bustling, energetic client’s and stylists. Other comments were made about the reception, I concur, initial greeting and paying/​exiting not so cordial.
Now on to the five star treatment I receive whenever I get my hair done by Shawn. Shawn is attentive, innovative, creative, skillful and most of all extremely kind! I am candidly selective when it comes to my hair and most stylist do not seem to tolerate this important to me, yet annoying to others trait I have. Shawn was patient and frank with me about my hair requests and concerns and graciously accommodates (tolerates) my fickleness. I am a social worker so that should tell you right there that my budget is tight, yet I am willing to pay Pucci prices in order to get my hair done by Shawn! Pucci is fortunate to have this talent in their shop, show him off and everyone with profit.

I’ve been in twice. Felipe does a good job with my haircut so I’ll keep going back. I subtract one star for the inattentive front-​desk staff. The first time I was in the receptionist was too busy filing her nails to pay any attention to me or even offer me a drink. They treat the front-​desk like a break room. The receptionists are too busy catching up on last nights events or bitching about the customers… How about offering me a glass of water while I am waiting. It’s Scottsdale in June… hot and dry and I’m parched. Next is the weird circular work stations. I am not a talker and I can’t stand all the chatter.
If Felipe ever leaves I will follow him. He’s great, the salon so-​so.

Had my haircut here by Thomas Dwight. He is new in the area and did a fantastic job. I bought a groupon and it was way worth it. I would even go back and pay full price. Not may stylists in AZ have been able to do a good job but he nailed it. The people that work there think they are 2 cool for school though. I used to go to their old location over 6 years ago. They have moved up to Indian Bend area.
Wow just the reviews and I agree agree agree about the reception BITCHES!!! sorry but it’s true. Hopefully the owner schools these girls on how to smile and greet. There are too many other places in town to go give a try to.
