About 7 years ago I had an injury to my face which left a small dark scar about the size of a nickel. It was fairly obnoxious looking but insurance doesn’t cover cosmetic stuff so I let it slide. Understand I’ve had facials for years, and some pretty exotic ones with sonic peels and bizarre ingredients. None of them ever did much but make me feel better. Then I found Kara! Third facial she used oxygen and this marvelous stuff made from pears and she did a peel. The scar — remember it? It’s smoothed, and lightened. It also moved which it hadn’t before. (skin moves) Fourth facial, we did a repeat and it’s even better. Kara is amazing! She knows her business and is a pleasure to work with. She also does my eyebrows and waxing and the results are top-​notch. Highly recommended!

Kara is excellent, warm, friendly, caring and sensitive to your needs. I don’t have a perfect figure and I was nervous about going, but she put me at ease and the whole experience was positive. She uses top grade products and the pain was minimal. Her salon is clean, sanitary, and relaxing. I’d recommend her to anyone needing hair removal.

I’ve been seeing Kara for the last few years, and she is amazing! She is a great person and really takes care of my skin. When I first started seeing her for facials, I had quite a few skin problems that left me self conscious about even going to the grocery store without makeup on. After seeing her regularly for facials and peels, my face has really calmed down and my breakouts are kept at bay. I feel a lot more confident and now regularly leave the house without makeup. Kara is AMAZING!!! I have now gone to Kara twice for a brazilian wax, and I can’t say enough about what a true professional with excellent technique she has. She has done this for a long time, and her passion for her profession truly shows! In addition she is just the nicest person you will ever meet! I previously went to Suddenly Slimmer to get my brazilian waxes (if you know anything about them, they are «known» as the place to go in the valley for brazilian waxes). Every time it seemed I found someone I liked there, by my next appointment that person was gone. The turn around was so frequent there, I was offered other services there at a discount. When I was getting married the beginning of this month, I was desperate to find someone who would be able to do a great wax with my course, unbearable hair (Yes! I’m saying it… if you have the same problem I do… you will appreciate the fact that I just said that… because I know you are looking for someone as skilled as Kara too!) Kara did an amazing job, it was quick, painless (she pulls it so quickly you hardly feel it!), and the cost compared to other brazilian wax places are competitive! Its absolutely the best brazilian wax i’ve ever had! The results are amazing! She offers so many other skin care services as well! The first time I went in, it was for a brow wax. Kara suggested a tint and, seriously, who KNEW my brows could look so good!!! Anyway, I was curious about a Brazilian and asked her a TON of questions. The next time I went in, I went for it. My first waxing was a bit painful, but Kara is fast and so professional. If you are thinking about it… I say go for it, because it really doesn’t hurt that bad (after the first time) and I LOVE IT!!!

I moved to Scottsdale in Jan. and tried a few places before LUCKILY coming across Kara!!! I have worked in the spa industry for the past 10 years and she is the best person I have ever been to for waxing. I had the worst experience ever at MOZAIK and would never recommend anyone to go there. Not only was my wax completely botched and left me with peeled off skin everywhere, I had to follow up with my complaint with the owner twice who made me feel like I had done something wrong.
Not only is Kara professional she also keeps a clean environment, and is extremely knowledgeable. Her technique is painless and super clean (she gets every hair). Do not try other people Kara is your girl for facials and waxing! A+++++++
